Were West Brom fans boycotting the game? Completely ruined my prediction
1367 according to the official site. They took a similar number to Preston on a Monday night. I’d based my guess on 8300 home fans and 1300-1400 away fans, as the home crowd has constantly been 8300-8600 all season.

If you live in Wigan, your vote will be as decisive as mine will be in my constituency, where the Tories have a 20,000+ majority and the local party sacked their MP because he wasn’t hard-line Brexit enough.
Lisa will be returned with a five-figure majority.
I remember watching him rip Australia out at Headingly in 1981 after Botham had hit the ball to all parts of Yorkshire. A truly scary piece of fast bowling.
I would sooner build the club up using a sound youth policy and if that means a return to league 1 then so be it.Easier said than done Vince. If you return to L1, its pretty much a given that any half-decent talent that is in your academy will be poached by either a prem or championship club. Its also pretty much a given that given the geographical location of Wigan, the lure to anyone half-decent will reduce, no matter how good your facilities are. The prem and top-end champ clubs can (and do) hoover up all the kids in the hope of one or two making it. The rest will either be tossed on the scrapheap or tossed back in your direction when they have been broken with the words “You aint good enough”.
Sunderland are suffering this right now. As soon as relegation to L1 was confirmed in 2018, most of the kids that had been at the academy for 6+ years, signed as potential future premiership players, were hoovered up by Liverpool & Arsenal. We were left with the scraps. And that is in an area where the only competition for youth talent is Newcastle.
I thought Warnock was a bit ambitious, but is this the same Martinez that is manager of the No 1 ranked country in world football?
Give your heads a wobble gents!
No disrespect to Leicester City but they are surely the most unfashionable team to ever grace the top four for any period of timeNo disrespect, but are you seriously saying Wigan’s spell in the top 4 in Oct/Nov 2005 was more fashionable than Leicester?
Defeats for Latics today and next week at Luton would be huge.I’d say it would be bordering on terminal in terms of survival chances, and Cook’s departure would follow very soon after. It does seem that your owners are currently content with staying in the Championship, and 4th bottom is ok for this season.
Next two games are huge – fail to pick up a win against Reading or Luton and the gap will get even bigger. Its a tough run of games in December.
Barnsley are gone, Stoke will improve.
Luton are obvious targets, but which is the other club you aspire to finish above to ensure survival?
He voted to trigger Article 50 so negotiations could begin. At that point, the word “Backstop” was only known as the bloke in baseball who wears the mask. We also had David Davis telling the world that these negotiations would be the easiest ever as the German car manufacturers were prepared to bring down the EU so they could flog us their BMWs.
Horc – simple question – Have you or any member of your family ever had to re-sit any test or exam in your lives?
The debate last night was a let down. If only Corbyn had replied to Johnson’s repeated question “which side will you take on your proposed Brexit referendum”. The best (IMHO) reply he could have given is “A Labour Government will not campaign either way as it is for the people to decide and we will implement their decision immediately afterwards”
If the goalkeeper encroached off his line and broke the rules, then yes it would.
£350 million a week for starters….
Sadly, there is not a Montgomery Brewster option of “None of the Above”. Either Boris the lying, cheating, adulterous Tory, or Jezza the agitating, protesting, friend of the minority cause will become PM on 13 Dec. Nigel the racist stepping back has made the chances of a Tory majority much higher. If you are a racist (or a fruitcake/loony according to Cameron) in a Tory marginal, you now have 3 options:
1. Vote Labour, who will offer a 2nd referendum
2. Vote Lib Dem, who will cancel Brexit
3. Vote Tory, who will leave the EU and continue to threaten a “no deal” by refusing to negotiate a FTA beyond 31 Dec 2020.Personally, as much as I find Corbyn and momentum frightening, I will support the Labour party. A 2nd referendum is the least worst option. So why not allow the country to reconsider the single most important issue that will affect the lives of myself, my parents, my children and eventually my grandchildren. We are far more informed now as to what Brexit will look like.
And for those of you who have the mentality “we voted to leave and that’s it”, consider this:
We allow kids to re-sit their GCSEs if their grades aren’t good enough.
We allow people to re-take their driving tests if they fail.Should we prevent them from doing so and consign them to a lifetime of a dead-end job or using public transport because of one decision on one day in their lives?
No, it will just be my way of showing I think its gone beyond a joke, by not attending. Theyll include me in attendance anyway, as a season ticket holder. If this is what it takes to show the Royles, when the stands are empty…even more so than now. No, I am not stopping going, but giving it a miss unless the club acts, its in my own personal interest. You’ll be there – you have form for repeatedly announcing you are quitting only to return very soon after.
and PNE were only getting 12k on the other week as a top 3 club with all their ‘history’ it isn’t a game changing difference in attendance termsAn extra 3-4000 every game at £24 a ticket (lowest adult price) equates to well over £2 million over the season.
