Is the game that bad that you are all on your smartphones commenting on whats going on in front of your eyes?
The average to stay up over the last 10 seasons is 46.6 points – in two seasons, 52 and 54 have seen Leicester & Peterborough relegated, and when Pompey went down with 40 (10 pt deduction), they actually accrued 50 points, which would have sent Barnsley down with 48.
Seeing as most teams around the bottom are already on 33 or more, and still all have to play each other, I reckon that 48 points will be the magic figure this year.
The games against Charlton, Cardiff & Blackpool in the space of a week will determine whether March & April will be a slow funeral march or not.

Off you trot then Tezza! ;)
It would improve their fitness, as their livelihood would depend on it. Im sick to death seeing knock-kneed old men with flags puffing and panting up and down the touchline, so knackered that they cant keep up with play, let alone see if someone has put a foot into touch.
Its a tough, physical game, played by tough men, and in a contact sport like that you will get more flare-ups.
That said, I agree with Egg that the standard of officials, particularly touch judges, are poor. However, as it isn’t a multi-million pound game where referees are highly paid professionals, then there is little chance of it improving.

Has a new manager ever had a worse run of results especially at home. ?
There will be one somewhere if we look hard enough….
August since we won a game at home.
AUGUST FFS….[/quote]
With only free-scoring Bournemouth to host, what are the chances of the fat cuckoo egg-chasers recording back-back wins in-between Latics winning at home?
Still in hospital, so case adjourned until 23 March.
Greedy agent gets screwed over by football club.
Makes a refreshing change!
You do realise this is stalker material don’t you sad sack and there was a reason the majority didn’t go to Leeds? My life has changed now and I have one other than football now that Wigan are no longer a premiership side. I suggest you get one instead of stalking latics supporters and being obsessed with our crowds.
Glad to hear your life is more rounded now Terry. Its only a game after all, and nobody will die if Wigan get relegated again this season.
Translate Uber Fan.?I argued the toss with people on here who haven’t watched a tenth of the games I’ve been to, home and away over the last 30 years or so who are now close to the club and used to support other clubs.I have seen us in far worse league positions, I have chucked money in a bucket to keep Stan McKewan,
This sums it up. Strange you spent some of the Leeds game on this site.
Noted Mutty turns up at the mention of a crowd….he isn’t obsessed though.Turning up?
Thats something you didnt manage on Boxing Day isnt it “Uber Fan”.
No big surprise really. We shouldn’t be looking at other clubs crowds though but it is allways commented on when Latics get the odd shit crowd. Didn’t hear the press mention it much last season when Latics averaged more than the afore mentioned Promoted Burnley or just fell short on the average crowds of Middlesborough or Birmingham. And of course your crowds were the best in the division when you got promoted to the premier league?
Almost twice what you got for the all-premiership cup game against Hull – and that wasnt on a Monday night.
