I actually went to the game thinking I was going to see Spain slaughter England. Quite pleased with what I saw from both sides – good display of Spanish style possession football, but also saw how it could be countered by solid defending.

I used to go to every home game but stopped after the FA disbanded the England Members Club and rebranded Team England.

    My point ;)

Exactly, wouldnt you think that with the amount of managers on here we should be top 4.

Seriously tho I would have bet my house on England not winning that game, just goes to show eh?

Only one game to be at this weekend the big derby, the mighty Shevy at Standish ;)

OOPS, fixture list had us at Standish but we actually played Bickerstaffe on the Rec, a fine 2-0 win

Griff, did you also have the proper school uniform? Barrathea, black parallels royals. If you wore straight leg pants you was a prize pranny when i was at school.

Tell you what LMB when we had the BBQ out he often handed us some bonny salmon over the fence. Probably the only fella who could talk about fishing more than Mr Arkwright ;)

Ian is a Leicester fan, great bloke virtually lived in his garage with all his fishing gear we would all be next door gettin blotto and Ian would be sorting out his tackle till all hours :P

If i remember right LMB Cov fans wanted him to stay i think it was just a case of better offer, i dont think he failed tho may be wrong.

Instead of making the usual George Cross on the seating we should have a huge poppy at one end and “GET F.CK.D BLATTER” at the other
