To be honest im fed up nobody has come in yet tho im not saying the Zog money should have been spent by now. Zog and Cleverly have gone so have other fringe players so the squad is light only Jones has come in. It baffles me why clubs wait till Aug 31st to do deals, we play the 3 clubs coming up and should be looking to put points on the board early. If we get off to a bad start thru being understrength and are bottom come deadline day who the hell will want to come and join a relegation battle?. I personally think its a dangerous gamble and would have hoped we had done our dealings early. I dont want the club to spend big or pay wages that will hurt us in the future but it certainly looks like we are only gonna go down the loan player route and thats why we are dragging our feet.

    has Shergar been found?

    has Nessie been caught?

sorry, but it aint gonna happen is it? unless he is willing to take a massive pay cut and lower his ambititions.

One word sums up that half baked pathetic excuse of a sport, Crusaders. How many times will they try to spread the gospil and fail miserably?. Sure they are getting decent crowds at the min coz they are having a bit of success but how bad were their crowds when the Worriers were s…?. Wiganners are like anybody else we go when its good we dont when it aint and that goes for most teams worldwide. Only the real big clubs can rely on full houses no matter how they are playing the rest will always suffer dwindling crowds during bad seasons. Its the nature of the modern fan today yes some go every game but every club has its floating support that ebbs and flows depending how its going on the pitch. Today the eggs are happy and attending but watch the famous Wigan Walk start as soon as it comes to an end, its only natural.

Southampton want 12 mill for Oxlade Chamberlain as well. For once im hoping Dave stands his ground and holds out for much more than the pittance Villa have bid.

Villa have told Liverpool to stump up 19 mill for Downing well im not being funny but no way is Downing twice the player Charlie is. Do the same Dave and tell them to up the ante. Why should our players go on the cheap? i dont care if Downing is flaming English he aint worth that money.

Shame, we had a good night out in Chorley quite a few years ago.

Started to watch the match from the clubhouse. They told us we would have to go out and watch the game because they were getting ready for bingo.

At that point we realised it was the reserves, so we decided to stay in the club and I won a toaster! Which I gave to the old woman sitting next to me

I could do with a new kettle

went to Chorley donkeys yrs ago Larry Lloyd came up to us in the club after the game and told us he had good news for us and to read the local papers next week. He signed Eamon O,Keefe and a certain Archie Gemmill.
