don’t get the john terry racist thing. how can he be racist when half his club and country team mates are black. he playes along side ashley cole for both club and country do you think he would put up with it if he were racist. don’t get me wrong can’t stand the bloke and if he has come out with racist abuse on a football field then he sould never play for england again or in the epl for that matter. he has also played along side rio for england on many occasions they were even mates and now suddenly he is seen as a racist.
So because half his team mates are black means he is not a racist. What do you think would happen if he said at the start of his career my names john terry and i am a racist do you think he would have been playing football,i know people who are racist and work with blacks everyday but dont let it be known in the work place
how do you define someone who is racist then. john terry seems to get on with his black team mates from both chelsea and england especially ashley cole who he plays along side for both. don’t you think he would have come out with some sort of comment long before the anton ferdinand incident if he was a racist, and would his team mates past and present and for club and country put up with him if they toought he remotely was.
If he said anything racist Pem i doubt he really meant it but it was in a local derby game in which they lost so he probably said it out of frustration and anger. This does not excuse him in any way but he is so arrogant he thinks he can do exactly what he likes. As England captain he had a duty to uphold but his attitude has landed himself in the shoite.
i agree with you nuneaton if anything was said it was in frustration and it does not excuse him and he should have the courage and decency to own up and appologise and take his punishment but what iam getting at is i dont think he his an out and out racistdon’t get the john terry racist thing. how can he be racist when half his club and country team mates are black. he playes along side ashley cole for both club and country do you think he would put up with it if he were racist. don’t get me wrong can’t stand the bloke and if he has come out with racist abuse on a football field then he sould never play for england again or in the epl for that matter. he has also played along side rio for england on many occasions they were even mates and now suddenly he is seen as a racist.

cant blame him for talking to um,think the media blew everything up as usual, did the right thing in the end, everybody happy (except swansea fans and probably liverpool fans )
brucesensible replies only.
Is we will always sell our best players and lose our managers to bigger clubs. I don’t understand all the fuss??? all that concerns me is that if he does go DW has someone lined up who can carry on Bob’s great work at the end of this season.agree with you hindley, if he goes who would people like to see as our next manager.
Moses, McCarthy ( as replacement for Gerrard ), Al Habsi, Figgy, Maloney
non of em good enough for liverpool iam afraid.
it wasn’t a serious reply, what i should have said was non of em are good enough they will have to stay here instead as they are five of our best players, and i dont watch ” egg ball “, used to play a bit though.
lovers tiff

so what criteria do you have meet to be considered a big club and who are the big clubs?
As was stated by a Tics mon on the Villa message board big support does not equal big club. If that was the case the 2 Sheffield clubs would not have been in League 1 which is what makes our League great.
there are four big clubs in the premier league, they are man utd liverpool spurs and arsenal, the rest who think they are, are just clubs with big support.
Fek me Chelsea have just won the champs League and can’t make the big club list. :woohoo:
by saying big clubs i mean clubs who have been playing at at the top level for most of their history, while i remember chelsea only being a run of the mill second division side in the eighties and only becoming a force when the russian mon came.
he was a good keeper, pitty he couldnt keep free of injury. good luck kirky
What to make out of all this Liverpool and Bobby episode. If the lad is so high on their list why on earth are new names being linked day after day?.Its as though they are saying “we had better keep Martinez in mind in case we cant get anyone else” Todays bet is that A V B is taking over with Van Gaal upstairs. What must Bobby feel when he reads all this? Obviously most of it will be rubbish but it must make him think.Mr Whelan needs to get tough to sort this out.Why should our football club be left in limbo so Liverpool can fanny about looking for a new boss?.We need to be thinking about next season player wise but how the hell can we plan anything when we dont know who will be our manager.I dont give a flyer if Liverpool,Villa and Albion have no boss we have enough problems of our own trying to improve on the field. Please Mr Whelan put a time limit on Bobby going or staying so we can move ahead and prepare for next season. And to you Roberto why go to a club where your not really wanted but will be tolerated if needs must?.Stay here and show them next season just how good you are.goodpost goodpost goodpost
