liverpool and their fans will want instant success ie champions league football next season. dont think bob will be able to deliver, he will want time to build his own team and get them to play how he wants as he did with us. so i dont think he will get the job, they may well go for a more experienced mon. think hiddink would be a good choice.
If the dreaded day came when he left i think someone like Mick McCarthy or Alan Curbishly would do a good job
Mick McCarthy is the anti-Martinez. He’s a budget Bruce. Decent manager, but is all for the first team and would undo anything done outside the parameters of the first team squad.
Cubishley’s turned down every job he’s been linked with – so I doubt if he’d even consider it.
I honestly cannot think of a manager I’d like in as a replacement. Someone from a smaller club north of the border maybe.
Nigel Adkins is worth a shout.
would have been a good choice if southampton had stayed in the championship but he will want to see that job through.
whelan said he would only allow him to go to a big club !!
said doyle yesterday
bobs always banging on about the young players not being ready to leave for a big club ( moses ) so he will know when its right to leave and we will wish him all the best when he does.
thought dicko looked sharp when he came on last night and i think he and mc manaman will be in contention for first team football next season. as for moses he is nowhere near ready for a big club yet, he needs at least another two seasons then KERCHING!
remember legia warsaw at springfield. with bob and his spanish conections why not say
BARCALONA
Rovers fans help the venkys send there own club down, even watching it on tv you could feel the shitty negative atmospherestraight from the kickoff they were on keans back they never stood a chance
rovers fans were a disgrace, should have got behind their team instead of slagging off the manager. well done latics, can have a party sunday instead of shitting my pants.
Why do we need a goal celebration tune? The “old” celebration was that everyone jumped up and down cheering for a bit, and then started a song of the name of whichever player scored.
The Tom Hark rubbish means that the player often doesn’t get to hear his name sung, which is I think a shame.
yeh get what you mean garswood but somthing original could work
the tom hark ( little wigan ) goal celebration tune is getting a little dated now but it would be good if they could come up with somthing original. blackpool have glad all over by dave clarke five. without starting another thread what would be a good original goal celebration tune?
do we want both bolton and blackburn to go down or one to stay up for a lancs darby?
i o wigan
wigan i o ( to the tune of play up pompey ) never got that one really.the blokes only been in the job for one day and and people seem to be slagging him off, no wonder we cant win anything as a nation. As soon as a big tournement starts whether it be football, cricket or rugby the media have us beaten before a ball is kicked ,bowled or passed. Why not give the mon a chance and lets see what happens. As for the sun today the lazy bastard journalists should be ashamed af themselves, its called bullying!
just been on worriors forum for a quick nosy, apparently the’re not happy
