As was stated by a Tics mon on the Villa message board big support does not equal big club. If that was the case the 2 Sheffield clubs would not have been in League 1 which is what makes our League great.
there are four big clubs in the premier league, they are man utd liverpool spurs and arsenal, the rest who think they are, are just clubs with big support.
I think it will affect the potential season ticket sales as all the recent hype will fall off the edge of the cliff. Mick McCarthy is the anti-Martinez. He’s a budget Bruce. Decent manager, but is all for the first team and would undo anything done outside the parameters of the first team squad.
Cubishley’s turned down every job he’s been linked with – so I doubt if he’d even consider it.

thought dicko looked sharp when he came on last night and i think he and mc manaman will be in contention for first team football next season. as for moses he is nowhere near ready for a big club yet, he needs at least another two seasons then KERCHING!

Why do we need a goal celebration tune?The “old” celebration was that everyone jumped up and down cheering for a bit, and then started a song of the name of whichever player scored.
The Tom Hark rubbish means that the player often doesn’t get to hear his name sung, which is I think a shame.

the tom hark ( little wigan ) goal celebration tune is getting a little dated now but it would be good if they could come up with somthing original. blackpool have glad all over by dave clarke five. without starting another thread what would be a good original goal celebration tune?
