Don’t shirk behind “Some of them have appeared on here, in recent weeks and months.”
If you’re going to call people out at least have the balls to do it by name.
Did I hit a nerve there?
Perhaps either:
A: I am unsure of the actual names.
or
B: There are too many to mention.
You decide.
Obviously, I’m still in a bad mood after last night. Too many people have got carried away with the FA Cup final…..I’d forfeit playing in it now, if we were offered the chance of staying up if we did so….most of our proper supporters would say the same.
The whoppers and hangers on wouldn’t, though.
Clearly everybody is a bit miffed after last night.
But, you’re accusing people of not being proper fans because they happened to join the site recently. Furthermore, a lot of fans complain about numbers. When people turn up, they’re accused of not being true fans and when they don’t show up people have a go at them.
For the record, I would much rather we lost on Saturday and stayed up rather than the other way round. And the only reason I haven’t renewed my season ticket for the Championship yet is A) we’re not down yet and B)they’re not on sale yet.
But only people who signed up to CL when it launched are proper fans.
Don’t be surprised that when you accuse a certain group of something, that people in that group get annoyed with you.

Hopefully Gary Caldwell.
But in all seriousness we now have two fit experienced centre backs. 1 fit experienced right back and 0 experienced left backs. It will be a miracle if we get out of this hole.
Lets all pray on Alcaraz.
I was very dissappointed with those who booed. Not what the players need at all.
I hope he never plays for us again.
What the hell was he doing for that second goal?
The warnings were there. It was quite clearly stated that what was preventing Virgin running more trains was that there were track works that weekend. But this company wanted money up front and stated that the trains would run “subject to Network Rail schedules for repairs”.Be that as it may, I don’t think I could find anything but bad news from a story involving Latics fans potentially out of pocket and scrambling to find a way to the game.
I’m not sure smugness is the appropriate reaction when many fellow supporters will be left scrambling to rearrange travel and hopefully get their money back.
Whats the crack with having seniors tickets when you’re not a senior?A pensioner I know got mine and I had his allocation for the semi (when I got them online and paid full whack) he thought he had to buy a senior because that’s what his season ticket pays for.
At the semi I can’t remember them checking tickets (though I was slaughtered) and it was just pop them in at the gate. The ticket is a normal price with just a ‘senior’ stamp on.
Puzzled what to do really.
They typically don’t check the tickets when you come in. The barrier has a lighting system, but its just red or green for yes or no. There’s no orange light like at Latics for concessions.
I’ll think you’ll have no issue as long as you don’t do anything that causes somebody to want to see your ticket.
I’ve got £65 tickets, I probably would have preferred £85 in the lower tier but the group im with wanted to go upper.
Not really fussed where I am sat, as long as i’m there.
I’ve always been really fond of Stoke….
Do you have any previous purchase history? Unless so you can’t get a ticket I’m afraid.
I have one ticket left to allocate, but I think it would be delivered straight to me?
Just got Man of the Match, and he’s getting his own little trip to Wembley. Well done Lee!
Very good away day. The Vine was great, the West Brom fans were great. I lost count of how many West Brom fans who said they hope we stay up. Before and after the match. Very friendly bunch and I had a great laugh with them. It’s what football should be like. And 3 points in the bag.
Told you The Vine was a good ‘un. In there before and after the match. Good craic
Yup. Whereabouts in the Vine were you? I was in that little room to right as you came in.
Possible Ali replacement in a couple years, he’s had glowing reports all season from Northampton and he’s been very good so far in this match.
Whatever else you wanna say about Bobby, but he’s done a fantastic job revamping the youth development, we are starting to produce some quality now. Mcmanaman, Nicholls, Campabadal and Bingham in the development squad look really good. Not forgetting Dicko either.
Jordan mustoe scored a cracker the other week as well. If we can regularly produce good young talent it might allow us to spend a bit more in the transfer market on quality players rather than having to buy a lot of average players to make up the squad.
