Ha ha, great initiative shown there but Super Zeb’s miles away this weekend at £25-00 just before Christmas.
Season Card holders count, but many don’t turn up. I wonder what the actual crowds are in reality. Not every season ticket holder will be able to go to every match, but the ticket nonetheless has been sold for the match and rightly so should be counted on the official attendance.
I don’t reckon there will be that many that miss a lot of games, but with season tickets being so reasonably priced, quite a few probably buy one in the knowledge that over the course of the season they will still be in pocket if they miss 8-10 games.
After yesterdays game, i can’t attend a home game now until february :0 due to work.
I was hoping for a home draw on 3rd round cup day. But, alas, thats the luck of the draw i guess.

My recollection of the dart incident was in the FA Trophy second round which we won 4-2 in 1974/75 season.
I may be wrong though but I seem to remember the photo in a newspaper and the report saying about it being at a tie between two non league clubs. I may be totally wrong.I’m pretty sure it was the 79/80 season. Might be wrong with the season, but we were deffo a league club.

Can’t remember that one Nuneaton, my mind is a bit foggy these days
3 nil up at their place abandoned due to fog, 2nd attempt 2 nil up then they scored twice in last few minutes to force a replay we finally won it 1 nil at Springy. Famously dumped Chelsea out at the Bridge in the next round
I remember the game at their place. I was too small to see, but my dads mate told him there was a policeman who had a dart in the side of his face.
I also remember the replay. If memory serves me correct, derek brownbill got the winner.
The dart thing did happen but we were non league at the time and it was at an FA Trophy tie. Same season as the dads and grandads of the Goons played havoc at Lancaster City.
Donny, i dont wish to argue with you, but i can assure you that we were a league club at the time.

Top performance. Defence solid. Midfield worked their balls off. Threatened up top. Faith restored.
My faith is always restored. Even when we don’t win a game.
And that folks is what you call ‘Blind Faith’. Not a bad thing I hasten to add but a stance that is bereft of vivacity, a stance that is staid! I guess I am just too passionate and animated but it wouldn’t do for us all to be the same I guess eh! ;)
Not exactly filmoss. I am a very passionate supporter & hate seeing my team lose. The difference is that i dont come on here spouting & spitting out my dummy when we do lose a game or 2.
It’s good to vent one’s spleen, it’s cathartic ;) ;)
I vent my spleen, anger, excitement, passion etc, etc. during the 90 or so minutes. Once the game has finished – time to move onto other things.

I’m not one who travels away. I have only seen us once on sky versus stoke. My only guess is when playing away, cook is playing for draws. I might be totally wrong.
Windass had a more free role aka Powell tonight playing off Vaughan and it worked very well and suited them both.He probably played well as he was playing in his more natural position, as opposed to playing out wide.
