Meanwhile in Oz :)
Interesting read that garswood.
Up the tics!
Its fantastic news. Puts to bed the “he’s off soon” from our more pessimistic & depressing supporters.
We’ve barely started the season so I don’t think we should worry about our position in the table. We only really started to make an impact after Christmas in the last League 1 campaign so if we can jog along picking up points I don’t think we should be concerned. I imagine we are also going to hit a bad patch at some point and we need to stay behind the team.I think the thread was meant a bit tongue in cheek – as was my earlier post.
Is it a wise move bringing in a North Korean player? After the negativity the club received over Mr Whelan and his Chinese comment and Malky being appointed do we need this. Imagine the vitriol the lad would suffer from opposing fans. Vital reckon both parties have agreed but issues over a work permit. Leave him where he is and look elsewhere.I think a lot of other clubs fans might have forgot about that now TBH.
Congratulations to The Eggs!
Bloody rubbish wigan. Cook out!!!
If we’re in the top 3 – 4 in january, surely to god, jesus, mary & joseph, there is no way on earth we are going to sell our “stars”.
Luke Burke too. P.C. must have another couple of owd codger drinking buddy defenders lined up or some loaner defenders.
At least no first teamers gone but these two were cover so you must be right. So with daniels & burke gone out on loan, who covers byrne should he get injured.
There was a lad in a Charlton tracksuit on the train today whistling Freed from Desire so looks like he deffo off.I heard a bloke on the bus sing “i’m horny.” That means morsy must be off too! ;)
IMO, the reason grigg hasn’t featured mainly yet is;
a) he is still not properly match fit due to the injury picked up last season.
b) toney has been doing well so far to keep him out of the team.
c) whwn grigg is fit, i assume cook will rotate the 2 of them to keep them both fresh.
I switched on SSN this morning about 8.55. In doing so, i caught the last few seconds of the “USUAL” shot of harry redknapp arriving at the training ground, but didnt catch what he said. Not seen him since.
Out of interest, has the WEP headlined the paltry attendance from the warriors yet like they did with us in ’99. I dont get the paper you see.
I’m so tempted to write in to remind them of their “Pathletic” headline.
I have a feeling that no one will go, unless SILLY money is being offered, or replacements are already lined up.
Please god your right that no one goes marrer.[/quote]
It all depends on the ambition of mr sharpe & where he wants this club to be in say, 5 years.
