I suspect we could sign the 1970 Brazil world cup winning teams and the c*nts who claim to be supporters would find excuses not to come.

We have a low fan base, which has substantially increased in the last 10 years, it will take a generation to make the next step.

I agree with that, it will take time to build the fan base but IMO the club does not always help its self.
And losing out on 9.5 million plus seasons wages for the sake of an extra 1000 season tickets at 250 each is helping itself?

    Stop talking sh!t

Lets not forget that was the 1st game for norwich in the top flight for quite a while, they came here buzzing, they gave their best it wont get any better for them, yet they did not trouble us too much, we will get better we have more experience and have better players to come bk in, Lopez will not make a premiership centre half in the memory of man, in my opinion, Alcaraz will sort the middle out. Rodders should of played in place of Gomez and Di Santo had his best game for us ever, give him a chance you never know.

Di Santo did have a good game but he is not a goal scorer not my opinion but a fact. And in a team which struggles for goals he cannot play as the lone striker.

The window is not shut yet and we need to get someone in who knows were the net is.
Not fact…… its still your opinion although largely backed by statistics…

He did good and if plays like that everygame he will get goals!

Those Goalkeeper tops look like a good effort to reduce the visibility of the goalkeeper

How much it will help is open to debate…

    Some of you??????

i can count on one finger who actually challenged that post. Only one person, Don’t act Billy big bollocks, It doesn’t suit the intelligence level you possess :? :? :?
Owd on a minute. “Rippining in to him”? “Acting Billy Big Bollocks”?

Where did i do any of that? Who was it who started the childish name calling?

My oringinal post was a general statement as already pointed out. I still stand by what i said. These two bit websites spread rumours which then make there way on to these boards. Cluttering them up with nonsense. The fact that this rumour (Yes, a rumour, which it was at the time this thread started) has some substance is irrelevent to my argument.

The only thing i was wrong about was my opinion about us not being interested in him.
Not really …

If your going to say its all just rubbish on Newsnow then the story turns out to have some substance I’d say it it is quite relevant to your argument…

I think you should apologise to newsnow

Not sure if I agree with AB on Cleverley. He didn’t look Utd 1st team class to me. I think he’ll be out on loan again, and we might as well have him as anyone else.

    Agreed

With the signing of Young you cant see him getting on either wing and if they sign Nasri I doubt they’ll be much room in the centre…

But then again they might fancy him as back up over the likes of gibson in centre and obertan on the wing… I think its fair to say bebe is putting the cones out nowadays….

I hope he does come back… chipped in with a few goals and was improving all the time.

watching vaencia giving ashley cole a torrid time and his performances since he came back from injury,in fact the way he has matured since going to utd, give you a feeling of a proud parent watching their children doing well for themselves.

indeed i can include baines in that as well.

I hope we have a clause in his contract in case he wins the champions league, we get money :)
I wouldn’t worry to much about that, I can’t see them beating Barcelona. Can you???????
If anyone had a half decent chance I’d say it was Utd

“Paul Wilson is the Observer’s football correspondent. He has previously worked for the Guardian and the Independent and local newspapers in the north of England, where he still lives, the only Evertonian in a family of Liverpool and Wigan Athletic supporters. No awards, books or television career to speak of, but he once saw a bloke on the tube laughing out loud while reading his column. He lives in hope that in another five years or so he might spot another one. Or even the same one”

Chelsea are invisible???????? The lads have got no chance then

Depends which way you look at it….

Can they see each other as part of their Invisible powers?
