Bellamy – to drop a 110K contract and fit into our wage structure? no chance!
Wright-Phillips – crap!
Barton – good player and I think he would do fantastic for us! although I think his wages would be around 50-60k and if we cant afford that for Charles we deffo wont be handing it out to toe rag joe…..
IN BOBBY WE TRUST!!!!!

Hopefully he wont do this on his debut….
Saw him in the Gold Cup check this out for goal of the tournament..
Cheltenham Gold Cup?
Now that you mention it he is a bit long in the face =]
Saw him in the Gold Cup check this out for goal of the tournament..
sorry its only me….after browsing the site for a while, ive decided to registeri think ive worked out who the gud un’s and who the bad un’s are..
lets see how it goes eh..
Alright Griff calm down pal. All i saw was that he was signing for Kiev and thought he woulda been a good signing…. Tryna burst my bubble do you actually have a comment about the player? As these 2 burks have gone off on 1!
:)
From what I recall, he always seemed quite a reasonable player to me. Wouldn’t be disappointed if we signed him but he’s not exactly a “get out the tissues and crack one off” type of signing is he?
We dont really sign the sort of players to have solid reputations / proven ability to perform though do we….
Julius Agahowa????
What was redmonds goal like?
come on leeds good luck saturday hope they win against
the tolerated trespasser’sShouldn’t this be in the non football related section?
Add Ian Herbert from the Independent,The first paragraph in this story still winds me up.
“On the face of things, Roberto Martinez did not have much to turn his back on at Wigan. The club’s training ground is in a place called Lower Standing and there’s a rather harsh irony about that because Premier League clubs just don’t stand much lower than Wigan on a number of key criteria.”
Bit of a typical comment but just skimmed the rest of the article and its actually pretty good and fair… :shifty:
He fell over on the half-way line and gifted Aberdeen a goal.Wasnt a great start was it
But in all fairness Terry Butcher did not blame him for the goal and said he played well
With Alcarez, Gohouri and Lopez all looking doubtful could be a possible call back ???
If Gomez had an extra yard of pace he could be a really good player for us!
Saying that though even warming up he does resemble a stoned slug….
I am new to these forums, despite my advancing age!! and what strikes me is the negativity of a lot of the posts- we played swansea, away, their first game at home in the prem.-probably the worst time to play them, yet we got a draw-didn’t play well, but should have won-I know the team is far from perfect, but give them a chance- ;)Please dont let it put you off posting in the future!
Unfortunately a combination of moaners and wind up merchants get a kick out of coming on here and posting regular rubbish…
POSTIVE : We are 2 points and 10+ better goal difference than the start of last season..
Lets face it unless we we took 9 points from the first 3 games the bicky’s of this world were always going to whip out their cyber fishing rod and come for a catch down the old CockneyLatic river…
:teasing-blah: :teasing-blah: :teasing-blah:
I wouldnt go as far to call him a reporter due to his daily struggle to string a simple sentence together but Paul Merson has to be near the top of any shame list!
Classic Paul Jewell on taking Bullard back to Ipswich:
” I’d loved to have done something, but financially it is out of our remit. I’d like to have Lionel Messi here but I don’t think we can afford him. I think Jimmy might actually be on a little bit more than Messi to be honest! “
