Remember, remember! the 5th of November.

    Certainly do.

I added you a few weeks back under my real name but decided to go incognito due to looking for a new job and being paranoid about what potential employers may find if they look hard enough.

I’ve added Griff and George previously and after putting 2 and 2 together wanted to add you to my collection in the hope I will be accepted into Griff’s famously exclusive clique one day.

The first man has landed on the moon according to reports in Bristol.

Don’t why this continuation went missing from my first post…

With almost a month passing since that positive tweet its got me wondering what his position actually is.

If he joins an English club he will have missed all pre season and there is no mention if he has been training with anyone to keep up his fitness.

Would any of you have him back here to compete with Holt and Fortune for a place in the front line?

I would almost go as far to say if things stay as they are we have a better squad of players than last season..

Thank gawd that you qualified that with almost or that comment would have just been silly ;-)
Robles out Nicholls and Carson in

Figeuroa out Crainey and his international replacement in

Alcaraz Scharner Golobart out Perch, Barnett and Rogne in

David Jones out Chris Mccann in

    Di Santo out Dicko in

Kone out Holt & Fortune in

    Goalkeeping department is much stronger

    Defence is much stronger!

Midfield we have managed to keep our quality players (up to now)

Wingers pretty much the same minus Di Santo and Lopez (not a great loss)

One hard working striker for 2

I fail to see where I am bordering on the silly? If we had stayed up and Martinez left for Everton with Coyle coming in setting us up the way he has and signing the players he has I think we could do a lot worse.

I dont think (he may prove me wrong) Coyle will ever be the tactician Martinez was for us e.g. Masterminding a cup final domination against the PL champions but apart from that he has certainly ticked all the right boxes in his time here.

Plenty of confidence to take into Saturday which can only be a good thing.

    Why, what’s happening on Saturday?
Good point

Unconvincing win for QPR yesterday watching their highlights back.

Sheffield Wednesday had a man through on goal who spannered it over, hit the post and could of had two penalties given.

Not to mention both them and Reading had to come from a goal behind.

A far cry from the 4-0 win away from home that we had.

Nobody wants to get carried away but if we avoid injuries then this squad is more than capable of winning the championship.

I would almost go as far to say if things stay as they are we have a better squad of players than last season.

Defence looks solid and if someone had offered me Grant Holt and Fortune for Kone and Di Santo last season I would probably have took it.

Plenty of confidence to take into Saturday which can only be a good thing.

I didn’t realise ! I wasn’t online either when it said because I was at a funeral ? On saying that I never actually ‘Log out’ so technically i must have been ! I would say hand on heart that out of those 5000 posts 4800 of them were either wind ups or just complete pissed up/ stoned bollocks ! Pretty much like this one ( Drink related due to said funeral ! ) ;) 200 alleged sensible posts aint that bad pro rata !
Thought you didnt smoke de erb?

    Drugs are bad.
I am an occasional partaker in de erb as you call it. I wont go into the whole alcohol is a far worse drug than cannabis thing but anything in moderation is fine in my book ! Monday to Friday I don’t touch either !
That’s a debate I am well versed in.

One perhaps better had away from here though.

    I wouldn’t have him here.

He is an over priced Roger Espinoza.

I am still clinging to the hope that we can go into this season with the likes of Maloney, Mcmanman and McCarthy.

Only 30 more days to go!

Technically speaking its not Dave Whelan closing the golf course and refusing to pay the £30,000 out of his spare change jar.

The football club as a company bought the golf club and have made the decision to close it.

So if morals are coming in to play you have to ask how you would feel about your football club coughing up £30,000 of its own money to please a few golfers.

I am not being funny but we are hardly short of golf courses in Greater Manchester.
