El Hadj Diouf.
End of.
No – it’s this annoying guy. Can’t kick a ball straight for love nor money, but says he’s an expert.
Tchah!

Yes, Eggy – I DID understand the point :)
In another report people are being urged to leave lolly ices out to reach room temperature before eating, as some small children have been distressed by the sensation of cold. ;)
It wasn’t me
I have no idea what MY mobile number is. People ask me and I look blank (well, even blanker than I usually look).

Perm any 8 from 10, 45 lines at 1d per bet = 3/9d ….. :)
I remember once being given the job of checking the coupon.
I happily announced that we had 8 draws, causing mayhem.
How was I supposed to know they were all meant to be in the same line?
Dragging up a post over three years old to prove a point is rather strange behaviour, to be honest
I use Chrome, Phil, and everything is OK with mine.
The only possibiltiy may be in script settings and how your settings are affecting you viewing the database. I can’t really suggest where to start, to be honest without looking at the whole settings, and even then I’d be guessing, but just to let you know there’s nothing intrinsically in Chrome that would prevent you from seeing the tabs.
Maybe John Heeley has an idea?
Actually that I can believe ;)
Who started all this swapping and changing, playing players out of position and one up front nonsense?
I suggest you read “Inverting the Pyramid” by Jonathon Wilson, which details the history of strategy and tactics.
4-4-2 died a long time ago, as did teams going out like Liverpool did in the 60s with the same team week after week playing the same style and formation through a game week in, week out.
Management now is about setting out plans and strategies to suit the opposition, the players’ fitness levels, players’ strengths and weaknesses, and yes, managers’ preferred styles. Teams will change personnel and formation not only game by game, but during the game too.
Sometimes no matter what system you play the manager cannot be faulted if the players don’t play well. If they do it consistently he has to do something about it. But the odd game? I’ll start to worry if we’re still playing the same in October.
Was he “made up like” ……….? :)Oh yes.
