whats the average wing speed of an east african swallow ?
Slightly more than Jean Beausejour
Ask Josh Charnley about fallacies – or however it’s spelled.
” the club has received an initial allocation of 10,000 tickets for the Wembley showpiece on Saturday, August 24.”
’nuff said ;)
If they want to send players over here, I’m OK with it
I’ve renamed my computer “Nelson Mandela”.
It takes ages to shut down.
Honestly, Phil. I had no idea, and even though I have now been informed who he is and what is going on, I still have no clue other than he plays with an odd shaped ball. Allegedly.
I genuinely have no interest in that sport and its players. I don’t wish them any harm or whatever, but I really am not planning to waste any of my rapidly receding braincells on them or figuring out their names.
So on this site you are accusing a boxer – I repeat a boxer, someone who punches people for a living – of some misdemeanour. And thank you for clarifying who John Conteh is. Do you know he was the least “hard” of his family?
I don’t know about you but if a former boxer said today was Thursday I’d agree with him.
As he’s not a footballer anyway I should move this to non-football.
As it stands there isn’t anything here that gives details, but you are on very dodgy ground repeating any rumours on Twitter. I won’t move it, but just warn, be careful what you post!
Google Sally Bercow and Lord McAlpine.

Who?
Difficult to type anyone’s name if you only have the initials.
Jesus Christ?
Jacky Chan?
James Coburn?
Johnnie Cash?
Jimmie Carter?or even
Joan Crawford?
Do enlighten us, that’s if you don’t want to risk yourself being sued for libel.

Buying my Barnsley ticket yesterday I asked when the season tickets would be sent out.
A vague “soon” was the reply.
I think he could be a master card in our plans
I think it was a terrible image for rugby league yesterday. They virtually gave wigan a home game in the challenge cup semi final against the bottom
Of the league, in the hope of filling the ground so it wouldnt look embarrassing on t.v.What we ended up seeing was an half empty stadium witnessing a horrible one-sided mauling.
Im not anti- rugby, but there really is nowhere for the sport to go. They have tried everything to make it
Popular amongst everyone, but on the whole people just arent interested.Wembley will be full of course, and they will claim that is how popular the sport is, but they will fail to
Mention that the WHOLE of rugby league will there. In the next 10 years, i can see sky pulling out and it will go back to predominantly amateur, it will probably be the best for both
Sky and rugby league.I’ve said it before.
Within 10 years Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos and possibly Saints and Warrington Wolves will have converted to rugby union. That’s where the profile and money is.
First home league game is against Doncaster on Tuesday 20 August at 7:45.
Middlesbrough is on Sat 24 August at 3:00.
I too was pleased with what I saw today, remembering it was a friendly so challenges were left unchallenged to avoid injury. Their goal totally against the run of play was a cracker, so fair does to them.
But on the way out two, otherwise reasonable looking guys, were going down the steps and one said “Bloody rubbish. I think I’ll send my season ticket back”.
To which the other added the immortal line: “So would I, if I’d bought one”.
Tell you what, matey – don’t bother.
You and we will be better off without each other.
Perhaps they should revive the ‘I-spy’ books or Ian Allen could publish a ‘Spotting the Latics road sign’handbook?I Spy books were great, except when one of your mates said “Oh you MUST have seen one of those”, so you guiltily tick it off to save face, but in your heart you knew that you hadn’t, and had CHEATED and the whole book was now worthless.
