I don’t know mate. I mean, we’ve all read your blog
You don’t actually read it do you, Egg? Just click the “like” button and he’s happy and never knows the difference. ;)
Believe who you will but I was always told by the groundstaff at the (then) JJB that rugby causes little damage, as most of the movement onto it is downwards in tackles. Scrums are now a token part of the game and they certainly aren’t “digging their stilettos in”. They loosely bind and get the play moving.
Pitches are cut up badly by football sliding tackles with “blades”.
There have only been two rugby games at the John Smiths, and months of football.
I am certainly no fan of rugby but we lose the high ground if we start getting silly.
Didn’t Scharner always score against Everton?
I see what Pistorius is doing. He is going to jail for 25 years and when he gets released… Bam! President of South Africa. That’s how it works over there, right?
Thanks for the warning :)
Oscar Pistorius vigarously denies murdering his beautiful girlfriend but to be honest he has,nt got a leg to stand on ;)Apparently he picked up the gun so it’s got his prints on it. Shot himself in the foot there.
Have to agree with JR here.
These were our seats for the play-off against Gillingham:

Very close call, but as I’m an old bug…. erm, person… the Cup just shades it for me.
Being in the Premier League is great, I’m not saying otherwise, and we’ll back back in a year anyway – but this is a really really good chance to give us (in other people’s eyes) a history, give us fans memories of a superb day out, and get me another (or a few?) trip abroad.
But you’d expect a ticket for the Final, Phil?
When we were in the Third Division (whatever it was called then) I remember distinctly hoping that we could establish ourselves as an established Division Two team, with maybe the odd foray into the top division.
We have more than accomplished that.
Once more – let me be clear – I do not WANT us to be relegated. Surely no real fan wants to see their team viewed as failing. But if we do I will still be getting a solid 8 hours sleep at night.
Do I want us to be relegated? No
Would I be that bothered if we were? NoThey are actually very different questions.
It’s not as though we are talking about playing Barnet and Hartlepool and Bury again. We’re talking about Derby and Forest and Leeds and Birmingham and Burnley and Blackpool and so on and so on…….
It’s a good league. I don’t WANT us to go there, and actually I don’t think we will (this year), but if it is to be then no worries.
Villa winning today doesn’t help – but similarly it is far too early to dust off the maps to Derby, Leeds and Nottingham
It’s dead easy.
Step 1 – note name of next opponents.
Step 2 – insert that name into “X is now a Must Win Game”
Step 3 – Post
Step 4 – Repeat as necessary to end of seasonSometimes you need to take a step back to make a leap forward. Not if you’re on a ladder
There’s always a team that have been out of danger all season gets dragged in on the last weekend.
Still a long long way to go yet.
