I was making bread the other day, I made bloomers and baguettes and then I was on a roll. On to football, my mate texted me and said he didn’t know whether he should go to the Newcastle game, or see his naan. I had an idea of what I was going to make next but it scone. Back to football. Dan Burn. Chapat’im on the back he is such a good lad, that Dan Bun. I was telling folks at work about Wigan and someone said ‘what the focaccia are you on about’. I got very croiss ant fed up with them. Back to football, as this is a football forum. I think the game against Nufc is going to be a very rocky road, but I hope we don’t get battered. I’m waffling on now. I’d better stop. Back to football I dough nt know what will happen this season, even though Wigan are bread to win. What I do know is that we’ll ryes to the occasion, and at yeast I’m not joking. If I was French I’d stick with the Club. It’ll be a piece of cake.
Some one said they thought I was a sandwich short of a picnic. That takes cake How rude. I think he is barmy.
You have too much time on your hands, you should be out earning a crust like the rest of us.
If you’re suggesting that he’s loafing around, then you’ll find it’s an ill-bred comment. Certainly not one the upper crust would make.
I think the 7 and 4 comment was referring to Ipswich
So did I GL, hence my tongue in cheek comment.
I’m glad to see someone actually read and understood the posts before jumping on the outrage bus.
It’s OK to be a small outrage bus, isn’t it?
I agree though, they are fickle in the sense that they never seem to be happy. They even moaned when they had Bobby Robson in charge. Geordies, Spurs & Arsenal are the worst English supporters for moaning IMO..He says on a Wigan Athletic board :) :) :)
Newcastle fans support their team through thick and thin .
It hurts the fans more than the greedy players, owners and know they’ve no right to believe they should be in the premier league because they’re a ‘big club’.
Respect given. No they dont. They are as fickle as any other fans. I remember several times in the early eighties and again in the early nineties Newcastle having crowds in the low teens of thousands with average crowds of 16 to 17 thousand.
A couple of times, compared to well above-average crowds the rest of the time.

We have actually, sold 7. Had to ask for another 4
Cancel the people carrier Jay – we’ll be needing a minibus!
Kick a club when its down eh?.
Given our average home attendances the away following is superb but lets not credit anything coz we have had a bad season. Can you not just afford a little praise for once especially to the lads who have travelled tirelessly to follow the club all through an horrendous time. 1200 at the Toon is a terrific effort. I cant get to away games as I’ve work commitments but have done nearly every ground over the years watching the Latics. Hats off to everyone who is going lets hope you get your just rewards with 3 points.
got to say the mood on Tyneside is cautious optimism.
I’m afraid you’re wrong.
There’s no need for you to be cautious in your optimism :) :) :)Garswood marrer, surely the posts that yourself, Sammy, Standish and Tilders have added to this thread absolutely blow all these myths out the water. I will never get this anti Mr Whelan slant.Precisely – but there are those who just will not see. Even when the evidence is in front of them!
Well spotted.Maybe so on this thread, but my conversation was with Warriors supporters who think the same.
It’s those sort of conversations that I’ve also had that caused me to post the original item on this thread.
I know that most reasonable people on both sides of the fence know and accept the truth, but I’m afraid there are still Warriors fans (plural, and not scarce) who firmly believe that DW sold Central Park from under them and pocketed the money. The latest set of kits (since Kappa took over) have largely been a collaboration of fans and management, via the meetings of those who attended the FAB sessions.Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the skin tight bit as Kappa won’t budge on the styling.
One of the kit designs was without the stripes and it was voted down by about 80% to 20%, hence why we retained the stripes. That’s not to say it won’t be changed in the future.
I don’t get the anti-red stance, we started life off with red in the logo, and I think played in red for a while (sure George can back me or shoot me down on that).
Yes – red and white until just after the War
We’ve had red trim in the past and if memory serves me right didn’t the original tree and crown have red in it, I don’t the red trim at least the kit matches the seat colours.
Other than it being Bolton and we don’t like them, is it any different to us paying rent to use the DW, even though both are owned by the same person?Yes. Because this is exploiting schools and education. That is wrong wrong wrong.
Perhaps if he focussed on his club career first
The tide will turn
Well I think it’s the kit man’s fault for using the wrong fabric conditioner, it has been pernicious to say the least! :)Your comment will be some comfort for him
His favorite operettaDIE FLEDERMOSS.
That’s written by Strauss.
I keep confusing him with Wolfgang Amadeus Mossart. -
