Let me help you out on this one sparky, jump on the train and have a few real ales in the anvil move on to the pear tree then go to the game. after the game retrace your steps, finish your day off back in southport in the guesthouse, your wife might not be overly impressed but you’ll be beyond caring.

Zero.
Zip.
Feck all.Which is the same number who featured in 38 league matches last season.
And the Season before.
And the one before that.
And the one before that.Strange isnt it that the world’s most popular sport has not had a Wigan born or produced player feature since Leighton Baines upped sticks and signed for his home-town club.
Its been 7 years since you reached the premiership and 9 years since you reached the Championship. That means you are established as a “big” club. So where are the members of the youth team of 2003/4, 2004/5 etc? Were they all so crap that they were chinned off? How about the kids that would have signed youth forms in 2006 for a “Premier League” club – where are they?
Face it – Wigan is the “Lost City of the Incas” when it comes to developing home grown footballers.
Looks like the placky mackem’s still taking the bitter pills!
Still not arrived!
I’m no fashion expert but I think they look ok, saying that I wont be buying one, well I might in 18 months time when they’re £2.
What you have to remember Wigmon is in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king!
I phoned ticket office to ask when ST would be sent out and was told they’re being printed this week. talk about leaving it late!
The thing is mutty our lodgers away support is largely made up of OAPs on cheap concession tickets, I would say your away support would be none existent if you had to pay the prices we’ve had to pay over the last few years, Bolton £36, UTD £42, Chelski £48, QPR this season reportedly is £50. The rugbys away support would drop by 90% if faced with those prices week after week. Because lets be honest here some of your lot have been known to whinge a bit over the slightest increase in price!
Sky have reported that amongst the floral tributes people have left bottles of vodka, lets hope Jimmy the trap’s not seen it!
Having the corners open allows air to pass over the pitch and so helps to dry it out in winter, what with having the lodgers rolling about on it if we were to fill in the corners we’d be playing in a right quagmire!
Then again that just might give us an advantage.
Jaws 2 on now, fantastic.
Come on Scholes stop using facts to win arguments, it’s not fair on our chubby little friends!
