Mine might have said the same last Thursday had she not died in 1975.

Yes, I can see how that can be restrictive.

    Too kind, sir.

And as a catholic (lapsed) myself, I think I am both qualified and entitled to make that comment.

Sorry Griff, I take the mono-bow comment back. (You do nose-bridge shave?)

    Damn my hun upbringing sometimes.

I wouldn’t pay this any attention. The mono-brows are bitter about anyone who goes south. Had he gone to play in Ireland or anywhere slightly Gaelic, ‘Caldwell, what a servant to the club.’

And, looking at your photo, are you not just Emerson Boyce with a bit of a goatee?

Looks more like Hendry Thomas to me.[/quote]

Well, they all look the same to me…..

They swear an awful lot on that site, don’t they?

    Catholic tw*** :)

High-brow or not, audibly guffawed at that one Griff.

Apologies for the infantile humour, but I couldn’t resist.

Maybe it’s a life insurance scam by Boyce, and tomorrow’s WEP will feature a photo of a crumbled Wigan Athletic kit on a deserted beach – Reggie Perrin style.

I’d be surprised if he signs for us. Bolton or Blackburn are more likely in my opinion.

You’re right Jimmy. We were up there with the big boys before that Whelan bloke came along, selling our 60,000 all seater stadium and state of the art training facilities.

How can he be an asset stripper when he was the one who got the club to where it currently is? It’s not as if he bought a successful club and is running it into the ground?

If he’s taking money out (as you suspect), he’s merely taking out what he put in!

in reply to: Nolan – rumour #2481 #17980

Quite possibly – can’t be bothered looking it up. They won’t be overly keen on letting him leave.

Apparently he wants to get back to North West as he’s not settled up there.

Here’s hoping that notts county beat FGR next Tuesday and our match goes ahead as planned on the 23rd. I’ve took a flyer and booked 4 of us into a bnb on radcliffe road next to the cricket ground.

During our rise up the leagues we first stayed there when playing Notts County a couple of times and then later, Forrest a couple of times and had some great nights out in the city. It is some place for those who’ve not been.

    Come on County!!

I’m sure I read somewhere that there is something like a 2:1 ratio of women to men in Nottingham.

Yes, but from my experience it’s often difficult to tell them apart. Or maybe that’s just an age thing.

For some reason this popped up in my head.
