I think Blackett will be a good buy. Expect him to play at LB in the main but allows us to go 5 at the back easy enough if need be.
Left back 90% signed, can also play center half so will be a good addition. Just formalities to sort out and Mr Blackett will be in our ranks.

As for Lang he has scored 5 goals in 23 games in League 2. Hardly prolific is he?
Will Grigg scored against Man City but some say he isn’t good enough for the Championship.
My point – a goal against Fulham in the cup doesn’t make him Leonel Messi.
Im aware of that but clearly theres a confidence issue. We start well and are in games until we go 1 down and then we collapse. Reminds me of mackays time. Hammer a side, miss a load of chances and end up losing 3 0 to a side that has 4 shots.
Apparently Cook thinks Cole has a bad attitude, hence why hes sent him off on loan.We sign players and then hardly give them a chance. Always puzzles me.
Why would we give him a chance if he has a bad attitude? Same with Callum. Must be some reason about 7 clubs have fecked him off.
Can’t Rely on a couple player’s come back from injury. Cook needs to take some blame instead of the same dribble.totaly out of his depth. Hurts me saying it but it’s getting behond repair..He is spot on with what he said though. 1st 15 all us, we miss 2 chances and then they score with their first effort and we go into our shell and get battered for the next half hour or so.
Last 10 we pushed on but not enough up top sadly.

Having missed 2 glorious chances at 0-0 and then conceded a soft goal again, he wont have stood there at half time and said “lets concede another inside 3 minutes”. The pressure we put ourselves under can hardly be attributed to Cook.
Powell, Jacobs, Grigg (he hasn’t been fit/playing which is why everyone moans about the team every week) and we still don’t have a left back.
Form isn’t like a tap that you switch on and off and in the last 6 we haven’t had a settled side for one reason or another and you can clearly see a lack of confidence amongst the players. We concede a goal and the life just zaps out of them. Part of that is down to Cook yes as it is his job to keep morale up and he is far from perfect we know that but anybody else would struggle with the set of injuries we have had in a divison they are financial minnows in.
