So true Runcorn at least it is now in our hands & we have THE best chance to make it to Europe now.

Who was it said Whelan was going senile for wanting us to be playing in Europe within a few years??

I cannot believe that Little Wigan are, potentially, now 90 mins away from European Football. That alone will be a MASSIVE draw for potential signings & could be the difference between signing for Wigan & West Ham for example  ;)

Is it a record for the quickness some of the sock robbers left the ground when the third went in? Looks like we will need to rename it to the ‘Everton Walk.’

So i’m a stain… Why because i’m not a hypocrite? Because i’m not the first on here slagging the team & manager off when we get beat & the complete opposite when we win on a ‘historic’ day? Because im not part of the Darkside? Do me a favour.

No Bertie Big Bollocks about it the truth hurts!

Totally agree NP you wont be able to get near the ticket office for Darksiders.
Spend the season slagging Bob off now he is a genius again
    2 faced gets!!

I hope Dave gets rid of Martinez, the loser of the year.Anybody KNOW anyone WORSE?????????????????????

Go on I’ll bite. What exactly did Martinez get wrong today? His team had more shots on goal than Liverpool & but for some outstanding save from Reina it could very well have been a different tale.
Some shocking defending/keeping didn’t exactly help either.

Oh well these predictions are wide of the mark.
To busy fighting with ourselves & slipping over more than frickin Bambi on ice.

I would be more concerned about Sturridge personally. He is still in his ‘honeymoon’ period & has a point to prove to Chelsea & their last 8 managers.

    Dubious sending off!!! Jesus wept.

According to McNally on Sky Sports he nearly broke Figs leg in 2.
He was stunned when Figs stood up.
Also, BBC1 said their player then stamped on Figs.

Best the bald 2hat gets a new dictionary if he thinks dubious & obvious are one & the same.

Now 0-3 up, Reading down to 10 men. Arsenal 1-0 up against Villa that should see us out of the relegation zone tonight

Haker you are spot on. A friend has just had a liver op & he had a ‘device’ fitted that means if he starts drinking it will stop his tablets working & really ruin his day.
Best had this device removed & was soon back on the sauce.

Never thought I would agree with ABL but there is always a first.

Complacency was Milan’s biggest downfall. 3-0 up at Half Time they celebrated like it was Full Time. All they had to do was go & have a kick about for 45 mins & that would see them Champions of Europe again.

Across the hallway in Liverpool’s dressing room Benitez gave his team talk to the sound of Milan celebrating.

As they say everytime someone slags off another team in the run up to a big game, Well, That’s the teamtalk done.’

in reply to: Sign of a good team … #102428

Which is understandable B_A_H. However, when the talk turns to we are getting relegated & maybe relegated again But it will be great because the football was much better in the Championship, League 1/2 delete as applicable.
Some people think we should be in the upper echelons of the Premiership not the Relegation fodder that we have become. Until DW sells the club to a Saudi Prince looking for a new toy then we have settle for what we are in footballing terms. DW’s approach, rightly or wrongly is to cut the cloth accordingly.
These same people who want him to buy a striker for £8million for example would be the ones berating him when the bubble burst & we are destitue ala Rangers.
