Let’s try and keep it off here though and discuss his on field actions. He was superb yesterday in his little cameo.
Keep all political, religeous and other contensious issues out of the game altogether. Remove poppys from all shirts and stop taking the knee etc. It is sport, there is enough trouble in the world without football inadvertently fuelling it.
You’re probably right horc, but sport has such a wide audience that it’s almost the perfect place to do it.

Must be free travel then
Do we think they’ll get their points deduction this year for failing to fulfill a fixture about 3 years ago?
Never understand why people hate their hometown team.
Only joking donny
I’ll be surprised if Bolton do bring 4000. They normally only bring that when the club puts free travel on.
He doesn’t get one then I guess
IL did what most people would have done and tried to protect his interests. It peed me off at the time but he was looking for investors to buy the club.
Sounds like Latics are well aware of it with tickets only being sold to people who have attended a game this season.
If any end up in our end they’ll have used Latics fans to get in.
By various, do you mean 1?
They’d both do for me
BTW – our original colours were red so no issue with a red away kit.
Good point mate. We could just cover the blue seats up.
I rode past the stadium this morning and as well as the huge “#BELIEVE” sign in the windows above the front entrance, just below both clubs badges are posters depicting Latics fans. Don’t think the Worriers fans will be happy when they rock up tomorrow.

From a rugby perspective, it has never been our ground so I don’t get why everyone moans about it. Most of the seats are blue anyway, the outside of the ground is blue, the pitch has a big Latics badge on it. We deal with it and play in a stadium with some of the best facilities in the sport or we play at Leigh or next door with no facilities at all. It’s 80 minutes a week FFS.
Might have been a bit different if it was at Central Park like.
Why would I? I sit in a white seat for rugby games. I used to sit in a blue one. At Central Park I sat on a wooden one. Really don’t care. Why would I?
So why did the Warriors immediately change the seats to red as soon as they got control of the Robin Park arena if it was no big deal ?
You’d have to ask IL. I doubt it was due to a backlash from fans but you never know.
Personally…..couldn’t give a sh*t what colour seat I sit on as long as we win.

Seats can be pink and green for all I care, as long as both teams are winning games.
