He is not the Messiah.
He’s better!
There’s a simple reason to explain why their next crowd wont be 24,00….to use a football chant to sum up why 10,000 Wiganers will be missing compared to last Friday “You’re only here cos its St Helens”Exactly. The 11000 core, 6000 away fans and some daytrippers. There’ll be around 18000 against Warrington, but most games are just your hardcore plus say 1000 away fans top (the average is 950 I believe) and a few walk ons.
Latics crowds work exactly the same way as do most clubs.
I have no problem with loan signings as I’ve said before. I’d be looking at signing McGuire and Pearce on a regular basis if we can. Some have had no chance though which I don’t understand when we have players here who could warm the bench/stands.
Keep up Eggy, Pearce is our player !o
Do you not come to any games ?
Sorted then.
Not if I can help it this season ;)
It was a very good effort by all the contributors some very good articles, nice to see it back after so long.
I have a good idea for a contribution so i think i will get out the alphabet book and start.Agree 100%
Good to see it back and really enjoyed the read, Mitty’s was very funny and worth the £1 by itself
Hi Mitty
To be fair, I think the previous 40 or so games have had a pretty big say in our future. :pinch:
Well obviously yes, but we still have a feint glimmer of hope.
Losing James McArthur. We have fallen apart since.

He’ll get my support throughout the window and the start of the season. Doesn’t mean I’m happy/enthusiastic about the appointment though.
Short term until the end of the season yes. Then look in summer who is available, mark Warburton for example, and then if he is still the best man fine. Looks like a rushed/cheap job to me.
For rugby games the North & South stands are unreserved seating, which slightly reduces the capacity. Also there are a few seats in ES1 that cant be used because of the large screen sky put up in that corner.
You forgot to mention who won. You also forgot to mention that the crowd was 24054.
Try discussing why a 3pm kick off on a wet good Friday and a 3pm kick off on a sunny Easter Monday had almost 10,000 difference.
With the weather being so bad but stil getting a good turnout, there shouldn’t be any reason why Wigan RL’s next homegame isn’t a sell out.
Well done Super Salford a team on the up
I expect no less than 23000 for the next chubbie ufc encounter not anything less
Have you seen the next home fixture? Be lucky if there’s 12000 on. NO away fans whatsoever except probably the bloke from London who supports Catalans.
It is sort of true though
Your first paragraph answered the question. Your second and third were just pointless.
Get Warburton a the end of the seasonGood shout
I also don’t want Jewell anywhere near us. The game has moved on. Stick the backroom staff in charge and find the right man.
I agree in a way Jon. What is the point? It won’t save us.
I have stood by Malky as I believed he was the man the club chose to re-build. This proves otherwise, so what’s the point?
They are impossible to work with at the best of times!Excellent choice of music at the SOL yesterday after our 5th successive win against the 8th biggest club in the world.
Bee Gees – “We Win Again”
Manfred Mann – “5-4-3-2-1”
The 8th biggest? Have they slipped in the rankings recently?
