L-R – Rugby League Championship Trophy, Promotion Shield from 2005, FA Cup, Super League Leaders Shield, Lancashire Cup (another Leaders Shield I think infront), EDIT – It’s something from Arsenal, 2nd or 3rd Division.
Latics wise there are several performance of the week awards, a 2nd Division and 3rd Division replica, a mini Auto Windscreens Shield similar to those the players were given, several momentos from clubs such as Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal (a few from Highbury obv) and strangely an engraved trowel thing from the rebuilding of the Pheonix Stand and a cake in the shape of a yellow submarine from the Villareal clash.
Sounded ok to me
And you’d know about spouting shite on Sky Sports ;)[/quote]
Exactly. JayT has taught me well.
Not bad
Fully agree. The pressure is off on Sunday and we can celebrate being the FA Cup winners
I think 11/1 is quite good
Sounded ok to me
Great news
Martinez has won more as a manager than David Moyes has yet everyone loves him and he’s just got himself the Utd job for 6 years.
Exactly what I’ve said all along
Not sure what Barton said but Moses replied that every one of the Wigan players has won more than Barton.
So we were relegated tonight but to put into perspective what we have achieved imagine it is 2023, do you think Doncaster Rovers who have just won League 1 will be the FA Cup holders having spent 8 years in the top flight and also played in the League Cup final? THAT is the size of what we this club has achieved. We may never return to the top flight but we will always be the 2013 FA Cup winners who cost Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd league titles. The Premier League trophy has been paraded infront of us twice whereas Liverpool fans have seen it once.Hold your heads high over what this club has achieved. There was a Wigan Athletic Football Club before the Premier League and there will be one after.
MK Dons have never won the FA Cup mate. They were stripped of all honours won as Wimbledon.
BUMP!Mcmanman not good enough, oh dear ! :woohoo:
Said in my article today that he’s got better and better and proved me wrong.
Apparently it hasn’t no.
I hoped one day both clubs would sit at the top of the league in their respective sports but we lost 4-0 to Blackpool when there was a good chance and Wigan RL were pretty crap when Latics spent a few hours there. Hopefully come August 24th both will be their sports cup holders.
Too busy making history…..?
