Let’s hope that that is all they can have a pop at.
A headline on Sunday morning along the lines of “Half Empty Wembley Sees Wigan Go Through” will do me.
I wonder if they contacted the Millwall supporters club asking where the extra 20,000 fans had come from?
the idiot who had a dig at Kevin Sharp and then Paul Kendrick saying they both claimed Wigan was a rugby town, Paul who’s son was the reason for the event, looked visibly upset as he grabbed the microphone to rebut the accusation. He wasn’t too happy with that you’re right.
Leta have it right, most folk on here probably detested her in life, so why change now she’s died? What about her football related politics….the membership card scheme her and her puppet, Colin Moynihan, tried to bring in? And the way she handled Hillsborough was a disgrace.I don’t disagree with that, I just don’t think booing her is the right thing to do when represeting WAFC. If Millwall fans want to boo then let them.
I personally will probably send a few last minute texts as opposed to actually observing the silence, but I certainly won’t boo.
Alcohol cannot be carried on board at all and as said, if any is found then you could face being turned around and sent home.
I don’t think it would reflect badly on Wigan, just Latics.Still a good enough reason not too imo.
I was quite shocked to find out that the pitch at the new Wembley is the size it is when Wigan went there in 2011.
No matter what you think of her, I don’t think booing or jeering during any attempted silence is the way to go. I agree with the comment about turning your back personally.
We are representing Wigan Athletic and the town of Wigan on Saturday and any such behaviour would paint both of those in a bad light and detract from anything that happens on the pitch which is what we should all be proud of.
This is what I hate about football. We should all be able to go in the same pubs.
In 2011 for example, I drank with a Saints, Wire, Leeds and Widnes fan before the game
Yes but eggmon we are talking Millwall here not a rugby match against friends excluding the mighty wire they have some naughty boys i believe
Nobody really has ‘naughty boys’. A few c0cks yes but nothing serious enough to designate pubs.
Anyway, I’ll see you all in one of them on Saturday.

RM is going nowhere unless he is sacked
Good on him, he may have had a freebie or two over the years, but he is Latics through and through and he deserves a visit to the new Wembley as much as anyone I know.
Have you really just typed that!!!!
You really don’t know the real BS do you….?
I know of plenty more people that have followed Latics over the years who haven’t got or wanted half (a tenth) of what he has been given….
Ditto
I would imagine every ST holder will get one. I was given a number on Saturday but it differs slightly to that that Jay has given but lets just say the number of fans I’ve been telling you all we have for years is about right.
whats the figure?
Less than that quoted on here. I’m presuming it is tickets sold through the ticket office only as opposed to including those sold to players families and sponsors etc.
