Excellent article. I was watching SSN yesterday and Pinocchio tipped us for the drop. Think it was more wishful thinking seeing as his precious Liverpool can’t beat us.
I must admit, it looked quite good at Blackburn when they showed Rovers getting off the coach to absolutely nothing and then our lads getting off to massive cheers and the players seemed to be having a laugh.
Good luck with it and as andyc says, lets hope it continues to have an influence.
Will be quite strange seeing a striker wearing the number 2
Oh, and I’m still struggling to see when we’ll need a 3rd shirt this year. West Brom or Newcastle at a push but I think we’d get away with wearing black at WBA and blue at Newcastle.
I was going to buy it but I decided to buy one of the new training shirts instead.
That red kit at Huuds was also a third kit and had been worn at Colchester earlier in the season.
From a personal POV I would love Latics to play in blue ar home and red away, whilst Wigan play in red at home and blue away. Should have been done back in 2000 when we moved into the Stadium together.

Remember talking to him in the warm up with my mate, Seemed like a nice enough chap.
I cheated Yosser…I Googled ‘New Zealand Goalkeeper, Wigan Athletic’ because to be honest, I can’t remember him.
I couldn’t have told you his name without cheating but I know he played in the Marsden Cup success in 1998 as I had to stare at the picture for 3 years when I worked for JJB.
We all know you do
Even if I did, and even if I was given a sneaky heads up on club news – which I never, ever have been, and I swear on my son’s life – what makes you think I would betray such a confidence to share it with some of the pond life that exists on this forum?
Present company excluded, of course.
Don’t mention pond life. You’ll have the fishermen amongst us on about bait
We all know you do
We only played 1st half tho n if Watson in then players who I expect to play next week aren’t.
Well, unless you meant everyone panics for no reason??
Whats the team?
Not a chance that Moses is currently on £20k per week. Closer to £10k, I would suggest, and he has probably been offered £15 by Wigan, that’s all.Did your contact at the club tell you that?
He’ll look something like this as well
