I’ll have a tenner on “it’s the mrs’ best friends 30th birthday meal” cos thats why im not going.
Probably not no. You get paid out on your league position and then receive extra for the playoffs afaik
ffs please don’t tell me your making excuses for the PATHETIC turnout for rugger league’s one and only top flight london sideheard it all know – this was a top flight rugger league game, stop making excuses, big soup league is dying on it’s primark covered arris
end of story
RL isn’t big in Landun and never will be especially in the shadows of Rugby Union HQ. The bulk of that crowd will have been Wigan fans.
Nowhere have they said they were relying on it. They’ve simply said that the accounts will be approx £250k down on last year. That is stone wall fact. The one thing that would make that less would be winning the GF (simply getting there isn’t worth as much as getting to Wembley).
If you speak to most rugby fans they’ll admit the sport is in the shit that’s why there are several threads a day started on msg boards about how to make the game better.
Wigan did’nt hang about saying they lost £250 grand not makein it to Wembley, did Huddersfield go on about it.or any other teams who dont make the Wembley trip.just a thought thats all folks.
Seeing as they didn’t win the cup last season and thus profit from the prize money and added merchandise sales of ‘cup winners’ branded items, why would they?

When did it open?
That’ll happen the day pigs fly GL. We may well start up a second club like Leeds already have (Leeds Carnegie) but Wigan RLFC will always exist be it Professional or Amateur.
Also, I’m not sure HTFC own the Galpharm in the same way WAFC don’t own the DW.
What sort of fucking name is ‘Duwayne’
I guess that’s a risk you take in a Country where anyone can own a gun.
I’m going the GB match on Thursday at Old Trafford. The only chance I’ll get to see an Olympic event so I thought ‘Why not?’ Was hoping for a better draw than the two games I get (Uruguay v UAE and GB v Senegal) but I get to see Diame and Cleverley play so at least I can watch two ex Latics players in International action.
Gavin Johnson (seem to remember him scoring a few free kicks)
David Beckham
Just been on SSN that Whelan is in Mallorca having face-to-face talks over a £2m move.
Boselli’s whole game was about getting the ball to his feet with his back to goal, knocking it wide before turning the defender and being on the end of the cross. He did that on several occasions but the cross never came or wasnt good enough.
Now that we seem to play higher up the field and with a faster tempo this shouldn’t be a problem as he’ll have the likes of Boyce, Beausejour, Maloney and hopefully Victor to supply the crosses.
That’s exactly why I think he’ll do better this time around.
Balls were being crossed into the box towards the end of last season and I think that will suit his game.
Moi aussi
