although I had my head in my hands, we battled really well. I slated Gomez, but what a goal.
When it boils down, they had two attempts, they scored off one, put 10 behind the ball rather than 9 and rattled the cross bar. Al Habsi had nowt else to do.
I LAUGH AT THE ONES WHO BOO’D AT HALF TIME AND THEN LEFT ON 87 MINUTES., Arsenal anybody???
Well done on avoiding a banana skin.
First Cup win against them as well.
Hit the post too didn’t they?
Revenge somewhat for that 999th minute goal they scored back in 92 (or maybe 93) that put us out on away goals.
Struggling with that one eh loyal supporter?
sorry just watching northamton score against pool.
all goals one net one stand south[/quote]TBF I knew that and I didn’t go
Three games from Wembley! It’s 4 games btw

I know I said to my Dad it was one of the worst reffing displays in a long while but come on Jay ;)
.
1-1
????
I’ve not missed a home game all season and ain’t seen no hot tub
17,000 fot Chubbies is `Magnificent`yet
17,000 fot Latics is `Poor`……………EH?
You say it yourself. RL is a minority sport. I love the game and imo it is the best in the World, but the fact is it’s a minority sport.
17,000 HOME fans for a minority sport is good. 17,000 for the biggest sport in the World is ‘poor’.
(yes I get the irony of where we’ve come from etc etc)
Oh, and as I’ve said before the guy who runs the Cherry and White site is a Latics fan.
As JayT says, yes I follow both and am proud to do so. I’ve followed the rugby since 89 when my Dad first took me and Latics since around 93 when a family friend took me. (was brought up as a Man Utd fan but chose Latics as my club in about 95/96 and have been 100% blue and white ever since)
Again, as Jay says I always stick up for Latics at rugby and vice-versa. Last night infact I was arguing (well, more debating) with some rugby friends of mine regarding the stadium use. Like it or not from a rugby pov Latics take preference under PL rules and so the rugby have to abide by that. The club themselves are happy with that and it benefits us in the media as they can’t blame the rugby for the pitch if they haven’t played (saying that they blamed us in January once and we hadn’t played for 3 months) Should Latics ever go down then that may change and we may return to the norm.
I posted on my facebook last night that The DW should be like that every week for both clubs. Queing to get in, queing to go up the stairs, a packed concourse, a packed stand, a cracking atmosphere. Sadly, I don’t think it ever will.
The picture of Gohouri on the “Player Profiles” is Diame, i’m sure of it :)They don’t even look-a-like
Another example of Chubbie in delusion   :lol:We play when we want. We don’t need Sky’s money to compete. If Sky FORCE us to play away from home on the Friday, we could just quit Super League. There’d be a bit of panic from the powers that be then. Sky might even pull out of Super League without us and the big viewing figures. Imagine that all over the news, Wigan quit Super League because of Sky FORCING them to play away from home. The likes of St Helens need Wigan in Super League. End of.
Thought you meant me then until I read the bottom bit
I agree that that part is delusional
Somerset have beaten Pakistan by 5 wickets……next Thursday
