All that goes to show is how pi$$ poor they really have been before this year, then.
Top of a list of not very well supported sports clubs for the “first time in years” is nothing to shout from the rooftops about, is it really?
We’ve always been in the top 2 or 3 even though we’ve been pi$$ poor (when crowds actually rose) and had a shockingly poor Marketing team.
What this shows is that yes we’ve got better on the field but we’ve got better off it as well.
What about Golobart..Doesn’t have to be registered
Cant see there being many places open on a Tuesday night.A Rangers supporting mate e-mailed me earlier asking where they might get “refreshments” once they get back. All i could come up with is the Moon, open till midnight, and Boulevard, open till 1am. I would think everywhere else will be shut by the time they get back here cos i would think they’ll get held in their seats for half an hour after the game.
Ah on a Tuesday is diff. Thought it might have been the Wednesday.
So they dropping them near one of the biggest drinking towns in England? Great idea GMP.
Stating that we have the highest average in the league is deluded now is it? I thought it was a fact?
Quoting a fact is absolutely fine.
Revelling in “the glory” of what is in reality a modest achievement isn’t.
I am sure that somewhere in the country is the most-attended hockey, polo, lacrosse or netball team. I don’t think that would be cause for great triumphalism though.[/quote]
No, but seeing as it’s the first time in years since we have been.
WITH OUT DAVE WHELEN THERE WOULD BE NO LATICS NOWWho said there would?
Don’t remember it, but maybe they did.No problem with the concept – I’ve more an issue with the journalistic style.
Not enough an issue to lose any sleep over it though …. ;)
Having read the article they didn’t do the large screens, but they definitely stopped off at the ground en route.
Didn’t they do this the last time they played them?
We won’t play 4-4-2, the best I can see us doing is 4-4-1-1.
Pollitt was in goal, can’t believe we kept a clean sheet.Didn’t have much to do in the time I saw but commanded his area well.
I presume Nicholls is with England U19?
We’re ok until we go behind. Then we crumble.
Santo “He’ll run and run all day but doesn’t look like putting the ball in the net. Pretty quick and decent in the air.
Looks like a young Chris Kamara to me

McCarthy is only 20 so doesnt have to be included in the 25, though he can still play for usSorry, my mistake. Works out even better.
Egg-man, you missed De Ridder :shock:An oversight, surely?
