I’ve been a fan of the owners. They have put money into the stadium, team, academy and things have generally improved. This is always a possibility with owners not connected to the club though, but the speed at which it happens stinks.
I did say that moving us from the stock exchange would allow us to spend money, but it just looks like a huge ploy to prevent IEC stocks from falling at the announcement. The belief at this time is always that there are creditors banging the doors down but that isn’t the case here it’s just a guy who cba anymore.
The EFL checks are basically does he have money. The answer is yes. What it doesn’t check is how he intends to use it. In this case he has chosen not to.
The EFL have screwed us over royally allowing this to happen, which they’ll deny, and I doubt we will get 2 years worth of investigations like Bolton did.
I reckon 8 points is enough (provided we beat Hull) to stay up. Stokes run in is awful and Hull are on a massive slide.
It remains, were in admin regardless
Lets get relegated then. That should help wiyth any potential buyers

Also, the wording of the statement from one of the administrators this morning says this is a hell of a lot worse than going into administration and staying up. They said “The main goal is to try and ensure the club can fulfill its remaining fixtures” The wording is alarming. It implies imminent closure.
That’s always the wording because it is. They need to ensure for example that the players don’t go on strike or that the stadium is closed.
Having a club to support is the absolute priority as you say. Staying in the championship will help that.
We need 3 wins from 6 I reckon.
This does highlight what many have said over the years though with regards to laughing at the plight of our near neighbours.
Based on his talksport interview I wouldn’t be surprised to see him buy us back if the need arises.
It was a good goal, no issue in that for me.
Didn’t you say that about us staying in the championship under Cook?
No issues with him applauding good play, I do ot at times as well.
I’ve gone for a Latics win obviously, on the other hand after back to back wins i can just see Cook cocking this up……….Well its happened before with that clown hasn’t it?
Agree Nuneaton. I’m pretty sure if we follow the path that Fergie did at Utd that after league title 13 there would be some of our fans still saying we should have sacked him back in 2019, or in his first season if we were Liverpool and Klopp.
You must be a wind up Bullitt?
He played a reserve side in a crap competition so Bullitt doesn’t like him. We could get promoted with Cook in charge and he’d still be a clown.
So despite us being the best team in the league since Xmas you would sack the Manager. Superb!
Are you surprised?
I totally agree with your comment Egg lad about the games feeling like pre-season friendlies. Although saying that, the Chelsea vs Man City game was pretty decent last night.
I switched it off when I saw the zoom calls of fans
I predict 0 for the next game
