No it was an attention seeking statement as usual.
Strange how people see the game different as I thought Kellett was pretty good yesterday.
So do you want us to play the old fashioned British way or to find new untapped foreign countries for players which you attribute a lot of our past success to?
You can’t have it both ways.
And in the Prem we struggled every year bar 2 really. The first one we ran on adrenaline, and when that ran out we tailed off. The other season was when Bruce was in charge and we gave him plenty money to spend. That’s no coincidence. That’s why money is relevant to us and not just the Newcastles and Villas of the division.
How odd. Earlier this season when people were calling for Caldwell to be sacked a lot of people said the extra money we had compared to the rest of the division was the reason we won the league and not the manager. Now we’ve got the 2nd lowest budget in the league it seems that the money spent by other massively wealthy clubs is irrelevant.
You can hardly blame him if there’s no money around. I didn’t hear the interview but I don’t know exactly what was said, but once the January comes a lot of rhetoric goes out the window.
It’s not exactly his fault that he hasn’t got the players he feels can fit into his way of playing. Just like it’s not his fault that he hasn’t been able to add to the squad. Too late or not he inherited a bit of a motley crew and has had to make do and mend. I really do think it’s only fair to judge him properly when he’s had the chance to at least partly mould his own team.
It seems we can’t do right for doing wrong. When Caldwell was in charge we were criticised for having loads of possession handed to us by the opposition and not being able to do anything and ultimately being picked off. In other words exactly what we’ve done to Huddersfield so far tonight.
So it’s all supposition and gossip and nobody actually knows anything.
Has it ever crossed anybody’s mind the the reason he hasn’t been is because, heaven forbid, he’s good at his job? I don’t know if he is or not but neither do the people wanting him out.
One of the first things Whelan did when he took over the club was sack Barrow. Why do people think they are now in cahoots?
Doesn’t really matter what you want though does it. But I’m sure whoever gets the job you’ll be posting you usual …… out thread within a few months.
We grew into the game because Burton tired.
We did put in a shift in the last quarter, but still couldn’t break them down.
And as for Bogdan? He is indecisive, but when he does make a decision it’s wrong. If we do have a financial penalty clause to pay if he doesn’t play a certain number of games, then I would pay it and get Juusi back in nets. You can hear Juusi shouting, cajoling, directing, encouraging. From Bogbrush? Nothing. Is this really you GL?
It’s a difficult one to call as they seem to have completely changed their style. Last season they didn’t score many and and seemed to concede even less. This year theyve scored a fair few but let a fair few in as well so it’s hard to know what to expect bit I have a good gut feeling
If a photograph had been taken of Wigan Town Centre the morning after the FA Cup won how many people would have been on it? I have no good feelings towards the Warriors but this comparison just smacks of desperation
You would say that…..Because i posted it! Now thats desperation you sad 2hat![/quote]
Don’t flatter yourself toss pot. I ignore 99.9% of your drivel.
