Don’t be so mard.
Maybe I’m reading it wrong but how can Blackburn be playing Blackpool in the league before our next league match?
Maybe people didn’t rate him because they’d only seen him played by Caldwell as holding midfielder and he patently isn’t one.
That should be a winning formula buddy, that ok pal?I think you’ve signed in under the wrong name.
Cheapest tickets should go to season ticket holders with a 3rd round ticket stub!
Why?
What happens if you paid cash and have no stub as you through it a way?
Why should you get one above a guy who goes home and away but missed the cup match for some reason may bee out there control?
Do you actually think we will sell out?
Around 6000 missed the 3rd round tie for some reason or another!
Why are you worried who gets preference? It’s going to be more than £20 so you won’t be going.
I wonder if Reading let their fans have season tickets for less than £200?
Did we ever score at Manure in the league? All ST holders should get tickets B)
I remember Baines scoring a penalty there.
The club made it a tenner a go. And now it seems it should be free. The attendance wasn’t the fault of the club. It’s the fault of the tight as cramp Wigan public.
I can understand where you’re coming from with your disillusion over the game becoming all about money, but don’t you think it’s a bit hypocritical to then criticise the club and and the owners for not throwing money around.
I wouldn’t say it was lack of ambition. We were spending more and more when Bruce was manager but crowds weren’t increasing. There comes a time when you need to cut your cloth accordingly and we aren’t a club that can sustain a high wage bill even with Premier League payments.
There was a time when we were spending something like 95% of our income on players wages. Throwing more money at it would only have made things worse. I would have thought with your dislike of the money sloshing about at the top level you would have approved.
Every report I’ve read has said he’s training with us. It’s the Italian mid season break. Have we expressed an interest in signing him? I’ve never seen it. Him and Joyce know each other from old and maybe he trusts Joyce to keep him in shape. If he doesn’t sign for us it doesn’t mean we’ve faffed about. It might never have been on the agenda as far as we know. It looks like people are going to use this as another stick to beat the club with if he doesn’t sign for us.
I didn’t say I saw any of it. But if you was setting your team up for a draw you wouldn’t include that lot in the same team. Sometimes it isn’t actually down to the manager. You pick those players to create. Not settle for a draw. Maybe it’s down to the players not doing the job they were picked for rather than negative intent by the manager.
I have to admit I feel really sorry for Joyce. He’s had more than his share of lousy luck in his short time here. I know they say you make your own luck but from Bogdan/Burn’s howler in the first few seconds of his first match through to Jussi this afternoon a lot has happened that he has absolutely no control over. Although the the first half performance at Rotherham was a horror show all 3 goals had huge slices of luck about them. Then there’s the joke pen against Ipswich an injury situation that left him without 10 potential first choice players. It’s safe to he’s been dealt a pretty shitty hand.
I can’t really see how we supposedly set up for draw when you have a starting line up including Jacobs Wildschutt Powell Jacobs Gomez and Grigg.
Everybody was up his backside last season.
