I don’t do twitter so you’ve obviously got me mixed up with somebody else.

Do you believe everything you read? Gelhardt on 3.5k a week? No way would we be paying an 18 year old with a handful of starts to his name that kind of money. There was another one of these doing the rounds a couple of weeks back that showed Massey on 8k. Its people guessing and speculating.

Exactly so, as fans we have 3 choices

Dip into our pockets to fund the monthly wage bill. We need a target, a figure monthly to aim at so let’s says its 250k we have a target to meet.
            Or
Option 2 sell our prize assets for peanuts
            Or
Option 3 the unthinkable liquidation and start again 10 tiers down.

I’m still staggered that with all his wealth DW has gone silent and disappeared off the planet.
I know if it was me I couldn’t and wouldn’t watch it die without helping even if only for a month or 2 or buy it and give it back to the supporters club who can then offer it as part of the sale free for a % on the board along with their 800k
DW beggars belief, you can take it with you

I’m sure it was stated somewhere that DW is no longer in control of his faculties and his family had power of attorney over his finances. So he isn’t taking it with him. His family aren’t interested in Latics, so I don’t blame them one bit for not giving their inheritance away to something that isn’t important to them.

The council have stated that there is no issue with the lease the delays are more to do with the EFL fit and proper checks they make so I thought, fine.
Till I read this remark from the council which debunks that statement.

“The issue that seems to be around at the moment is we’re trying to ‘protect’ the Warriors.”

So YES there is a delay and YES it is regarding the rugby and I’d guess its def the lease and possibly their rent which has fcuk all to do with them.
All a joke this, kick them fcukin out let them play over Fosters fields

I’m not sure how you get to that conclusion from reading that statement. She’s basically denying the rumours that are going around.

No one said anything about not supporting the club, i’m just saying i won’t be squabbling or throwing a tantrum if i can’t get a ticket to watch at the stadium, i have watched every match this season and will continue to do so at a tenner a time.

Fairweather fan? I won’t be dumping the club i support to go and support anyone else no matter what the excuse!

Nice bit of backtracking there Norm. Message 1 … it’s a NO from me. Message 2 after being challenged… I won’t dump this club.

Granted mutty hasn’t got a leg to stand on when it comes to challenging somebody’s loyalty, but your own words condemned you.

These new guys that have just surfaced just seem to be a bunch of chancers to me. They’ve been conducting their business on Twitter and seemingly have been recruiting the gullible among the twitterati to undermine the Spanish bid.

To quote the great Zaphod Beeblebrox “I would trust them as far as I can comfortably spit a rat”

Considering the next league fixture was already called off, and considering the need for cash, I am baffled as to why he didnt play his strongest 11. £16972 was given to the winners yesterday, with a guaranteed £8500 for losing in the 2nd round (or £25500 for winning it). Instead there is £5657.

With cash being king for Wigan Athletic at the moment, Sheridan’s selection has cost the club a guaranteed £20,000+

For that alone, he should go.

That probably was the strongest squad he had available to him. Injuries to Jamie Jones, Lee Evans, Viv Solomon-Otabor, Darnell Johnson, Gary Roberts and Kal Naismith. Loanees unavailable in Curtis Tilt and Matty Palmer. Gavin Massey and Will Keane out injured previous to the weekend and it all adds to very little option.

Although his hands were tied in some aspects, he only tightened the knot by making the strange decision to split the midfield duo that had dominated possession in the first 40 minutes and basically surrender that area of the pitch.

Two threads called “Today”. One is about the win against Doncaster and has 2 posts. The other is about a different sport and has 17 post (18 now, including this).

                          But you’re not obsessed…. ;-)

Did I miss the post where you replied to Egg when he asked if you criticised the rugby mon for wanting us liquidated?

I would go on their board to have a look but I don’t support them. I’d have to be pretty obsessed to go on the board of a team I don’t support and one that plays a different sport. That would be pretty sad and small minded.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Martinez was approached for his opinion and gave us a glowing report, but I don’t think he’ll be in any way involved in the purchase.

The statue really has got under your skin hasn’t it? I don’t know how you can be so begrudging of the man that saved your club at the turn of the millennium, a few years after saving your former club.

I don’t know if anybody else is like me, but I’m very reticent to put any money in the club at the moment because I genuinely don’t know where it goes.

No way am I lining the pockets of the hatchet men, but at the same time I’m desperate to help the club out. I’ve donated more than I really should have to the supporters club appeals, but I want to be able to give money directly to WAFC and I’m really not convinced that I can.

So if the Grayson rumour is correct what gives this bunch of grade 1 vvankers the right to choose a manager for us especially when were trying to find a new owner ??.
Surely any potentual new owners should be the decision makers on appointing the most important role at the club.
These bunch of pricks wanna concentrate on finding us new owners not new managers. It’s all become a farce now admin playing the role of chairman appointing people while we face possible liquidation.

Sell Byrne & Morsey for their true market price then knock it off the current outstanding debt and stadium.
I wish this band of thieving tossers would hurry up and get the fcuk out the door asap. That’s whether we stay in the League or not. They disgust me the way they’ve treated our club

Apparently it was at the request of Leam Richardson. Short term appointment if it does happen.
