Surely that means they do something for the fans for 19 games per season (maybe 23 next year), whereas WBA are only doing something for one game.

Maybe it’s a reward for their supporters travelling in large numbers all season. Let’s be honest, if we were to reward all our regular away travellers, one coach would be enough never mind 40.

Don’t you feel as supporters it is some reward to have season tickets miles cheaper than any other club?

Just to back up what Tyldesley said above, my client code hadn’t been used and just been on the ticketing thing on the official site. The option to buy even a single ticket at £45 and £65 is no longer there. It’s possible to buy a single ticket but not 2 together in the £85’s behind the nets and the first possible 2 together in the other 85’s are in 522. I assume though that a couple of the lower blocks behind the net are now either for City or are remaining closed, as I can’t see us selling that many.

I have to admit I can’t fathom out how the tickets have been sold. He’s not the first person I’ve heard of with tickets in 524. And that block puts us absolutely miles past the original allocation, so we must have got some extra.

But I also hear that some seats in the lower section behind goal are still left. I would have expected the FA to insist that all our original lot were sold out first.

I stopped reading when LOTP said Wimbledon sold out in 1988

Ha ha. I doubt it very much. Unless he’s secretly learned how to switch a computer on.

Fair play to those that queued up Saturday night. From what I can gather a great craic was had by all. There’s more to life than convenience and comfort. My dad was there from midnight. He’s well into his 70’s but he loved it. Chatting to people he’d never met before, everybody sharing food and drink with complete strangers. He said it just made it part of the cup final experience. I realise it could all be done with the click of a button from the comfort of your own home, but it’s just a click of a button. Like buying any other commodity. My old man went home with stories to tell and new friends made. You can be as smug as you like about buying them on line, but don’t knock those that see and do things differently. Sad is the last word I would use to decribe him when I saw him on Sunday afternoon.

I can confirm that we’ve gone past the originally allocated tickets (assuming the coloured seating plan on the official site is accurate) It’s coloured up to block 515 or maybe 516, but the seat that I got this morning is in block 518.

Yes, we could pick the exact seats.

To those who bought their tickets online last time round, do you actually get a choice of where you’re seats will be? I seem to remember complaints that they just take your money and you don’t have any say.

We are thinking of going in the £85 ones along the sides (blocks 501 to 504 I think). But these are the same price as the lower blocks behind the goal. If we just requested £85 tickets would it ask us which block or could we end up anywhere?

I actually queued up to get Macclesfield tickets, and despite the cold I loved it. Maybe it sounds a bit naff or even old fashioned, but I actually got some satisfaction from the purchase. Especially with having the craic with the others in the queue. When I buy my tickets online I feels no different to buying a table and chairs from Homebase.

                          Different strokes and all that.

You won’t get an apology from me. I know from history that you’re in the armed forces as I’ve commented on how somebody so petty and obsessive could be defending the country.

And I also know from history your obsession with the number of free tickets we supposedly give away. The numbers you invent vary from week to week. As such I know that the inference was that the club were giving away these tickets.

I was at Maine Road too, so that’s another one. Eric Makin, big and blonde, no skill whatsoever, but a hell of a battering ram.

I find it impossible to have sympathy for someone in senior public office that utters the words “There is no such thing as society” as a defence for the culture of selfishness she created.

Remember this chimp? How is the home of football looking next week? Are we going to set a new record for the lowest crowd for an FA Cup semi-final at the home of football?
All our fans will be there. The same fans who turn up week after week for home games. That’s all that matters really.
LOTP, Mutty, McGoose or whatever you choose to logon as next you come on, this is without doubt the most pathetic start/restart of a thread I’ve ever known. We aren’t the first team not to sell out a semi final at Wembley, but a pound to pinch of peess we’ve sold more than enough on our own to fill the Stobart Stadium withouth the help of the oposition. You’ve obviously either bookmarked this or noted the details of it, which suggests you really should find yourself something to do with your life.

And what a coincidence that the only person I know of that has been offered freebies happens to a sad, obsessed rugby mon. Or are you making things up as per usual?
