The administrators have said that they are considering an appeal against a 12pt deduction?
They should be telling the EFL that they are going to pursue this all the way to the supreme court if necessary. The EFL must take their share of the blame in all this and to punish our club for their massive cock up is completely wrong.
Thought I may have felt a bit better after a night’s (restless) sleep but if anything I am more furious than ever.I think Whelan may bankroll us until the end of the season by which time hopefully we may have a buyer.
We are Wigan Athletic. We’ve defied the odds before and we will do so again no matter what the E.F.L. et al throw at us.

Having beaten both Leeds and W.B.A. away I don’t think the players will fear Brentford at all providing we keep the run going.

The club could have sacked Paul Cook last season but for whatever reason stuck with him and it looks like the decision is paying off at last. I can’t recall any club with a high turnover of managers doing well at any level.
People seem to forget that Paul Cook is still learning at this level as well as most of the players and if he can take what he’s learned into next season (providing the unthinkable doesn’t happen) then I think we will be in with a good shout of the play offs at least.
Keep the faith Decided to forgo my season ticket refund in favour of a streaming pass, got the email back from the club today and redeemed the voucher code and it seems to be up and running ready for Saturday.

Early days though Dont forget you cant stream it direct to your TV using chromecast or other SmartTV apps, i read that in the info somewhere, so you can only watch it on a device or your pc or laptopWanting to watch the games on my main tv I thought I’d try using an android box I have connected and after signing in on the Latics website I was able to watch videos put on by the club full screen however it was a bit stop/start so looks like I will be watching on the PC :(
