I started going in 1971 and for a non-league club was quite good,but once we were elected to the league trips to Port Vale,Tranmere,Bury and even Stockport put it all into perspective,Springy was a dump!

Unfortunately the tools responsible ie. Wigan Labour Council,were once again re-elected with a massive majority!!
My theory is,there are so many Wiganers on a `good screw` under labour ( ie,every kind of benefit under the sun),
They are naturally going to vote for the party that created their comfy `lifestyle`!Melchiot & Scharner officially left Wigan now. Martinez may look to agree a new short term deal with Pollitt if Alex Smithies goes to Stoke City insted of the Latics.Pollitt already signed for another year,………..spoke to him last week.
