Is it all those singing his name who are the “utter deluded plebs” or is it you? Asking for a friend

Nope, it’s most definitely the ones singing his name. Are you one of them? Ha ha.

Theyll still be singing it next season with 5000 crowds on….

I knew you would bite. So let’s have it… :mail:

Because we sat back all night with a bank of 5 and a bank of 4, had a pathetic amount of possession for a home team, and but for Sam Tickle we would’ve been 3 goals down. He played Magennis who is absolutely a waste of time. Apart from the goal, I can’t recall us having much else in front of their goal.

We did what we did against City when Grigg scored. But this was Bolton…league One Bolton. Not City. Awful parking the bus in a local Derby.

Yes we won, but I’m not getting carried away about that. He played a dangerous game, Baloney, and got lucky on the night. The only positive thing from the Bolton game is we won. We won despite of Baloney, not BECAUSE of him.

Playing alongside better players and a manager who has a clue is definitely helping him.
It’s rather macabre that I love seeing the highlights of him scoring for Portsmouth.
What the hell our so-called manager was thinking of in both A, not playing him in his best position, and B, then treating him shockingly leaving him out and then letting him go, I’ve no idea. Throwing him on as an added time sub against United…that really was abysmal.

I’ve had enough of this manager…hes crap. All those singing his name are utter deluded plebs. He’s awful. Carry on and it’s hello to 5k crowds. Remember as well, he WAS a Bahraini appointment. I’d prefer Danson to sort a Chief Exec and Board out, then make their own appointment in the summer.

We had thought about going to this, but the ticket fiasco made our mind up and I ended up in the pub playing darts and drinking Guinness.

Far more worthwhile than yet another wasted Saturday….

            Baloney out.

I intended for ages going to Charlton away in March, because I was gonna turn it into a little stay over in London. I was thinking of getting some proper Pie, Mash and Liquor, see a few sights, and go the match, go down Friday night, come back Sunday teatime. The match was the last thing actually on the agenda!
Having been to The Valley before, Charlton is a ground and club that I actually like. My mums uncle also played for them back in the 50s as well.

But I can’t justify the expense, not when we are playing as we are. I’ve even given up on i.follow. last 2 times I bought games it never worked and the second time they refunded me £5 instead of £10…and we didn’t see a ball kicked.

I’m genuinely worried about Tuesday. We were awful on Friday night, no movement and playing at a snails pace. Play like that on Tuesday and we could be 3 down at half time.
Theyll have their arses kicked after the Blackpool hammering, I can see them getting one over us in this one. For once, we haven’t got Lang to go at them, and I’m not sure who we have who can really threaten them that much.
If the players are as bad as the Cheltenham game in this, and so lacklustre, it’ll be a disgrace.

                  Yep, he’s clueless.

                  We’ve a shit manager…again.

Clever appointment though, although wasn’t he a Bahraini appointment? Yep, then Danson kept him on. Why? I’ll tell you. He has history with us. Corner in cup final for the goal, goal v United, etc. All this means a lot of our support will give him extra leaway if results don’t go right. And thats exactly what’s happening. The likes of Deb C etc coming out on Twitter etc and suggesting he should be supported whatever happens…BOLLOCKS. in fact, DOUBLE BOLLOCKS!!!

Might be a clichè, but it IS and always has been, a results business. Not only have results not been good enough, this ‘brand’ of football is, and I think I’m right to sat this, shite. Its not entertaining and at the end of the day that’s what we want. Entertainment.

Goode? A mind boggling signing. We didn’t need Rekik…he went back, we didn’t need Goode. A journeyman centre back? Nah, we needed some steel in midfield.
Maloneys whole thing as a manager is mind boggling. He’s shite…we arent going to progress with him in charge.
I predict a 5k crowd on next Friday night. There was a lot less than the given figure, last Saturday.

Nobody to call him to account, we’ve no board, no chief executive. Whole club is a shambles.

Lot going on behind the scenes, contract limbo, delayed meetings, empty promises. I posted that the club is “a shambles” before and Jason Kerr’s mum liked the comment. That should tell you something.

Next Friday will likely be the smallest league gate in years…people have had enough/losing interest.

Does any of the clubs hierarchy actually go to matches on a regular basis? I don’t think they do otherwise they would realise the shit being served up, I know they where out in force for the United game even Danson attended.

If any of them did attend then Maloney would have been out of the door before Christmas, they are obviously not football people they probably look at the league table once a week and think we are doing ok, these people don’t have WAFC at heart.

VAT summed it up, the club is a shit show from top to bottom, Maloney in his post match interview said he “won’t be changing the style of play” Thanks for the heads up Shaun that’ll save me a few quid on a season ticket next season! And I won’t be on my own either.

The style of football we played under Leam Richardson was far worse. You can see what Maloney is trying to do. We have to be patient , this season is all about staying up. Let’s judge him at the end of next season where , hopefully , he will have some money to spend ,it will be his squad and he will have no excuses.

Well I wont be there. Even considering the thought of enduring another season of this turgid shite Maloney is getting them churning out, nah I’ll walk away first.

Fans dropping off rapidly…can see each home game. Danson is going to have to make a call soon, and Im not joking. Come the summer and suchlikes as Magennis, Pearce, Wyke, Jones, Amos will be going/have to go. What will Danson do, will he chuck some money at Maloney ir whoever is manager? I doubt it. We will be looking at freebies and loans again…more hasbeens and never will be signings. Plus, we’ll probably lose Tickle and Hughes. So will be a lot weaker.

Nah, either run the club properly, sensibly, but also realistically, or don’t bother. I still think that if Danson doesn’t back Maloney or whoever is manager in the summer, we could easily go the way of Oldham and Rochdale and slip into Non League.

And I doubt very much they’ll sack Maloney anyway because no other manager, or at least any with any self respect, would come and work under the constraints theyd be under.

1 deflected goal is unfortunate. 2 deflected goals it really isn’t your day.

Just shows what can happen if you’re prepared to have a crack at goal…lessons to learn from our former manager!

Please cut out the short corners and get the ball in the box every time.

Exactly. It’s a free opportunity to get the ball into the box. You’d think Maloney off all people would have us decent on corners. The right ball and a flick…thats all it take.

                            Mr Brownbill,

Honestly, I can’t waste any more weekends on this crap.

                            At any other club…

                            1. Maloney would have had a talking to by now.
                            2. Magenniss would not be playing.
                            3. The crowd would be offering more derision. But then again, Wiganers are voting by bums on seats, and it’s getting less and less bums on seats…

The club is still a mess. No chief executive, no board, no real set up behind the scenes. The football on offer is absolute dross. It’s no better than Joyce, Mackay, Leam, or Kolo. It’s nowhere near as good as early on under Rosler.
Caldwell showed today he’s a better manager than Maloney. I think Maloney is a nice guy, but a shit manager. I’m not entirely sure what his gameplay and tactics are. Seems a bit of a mish-mash. Any other club and he would be on borrowed time. Its painful to watch.

Stoke released Dwight Gayle late on tonight. For a moment I thought “hmmm I wonder?”

Then I realised, we’ve more chance of signing Gail Platt.

Intrigued to see what Kelman is like. I also think we may have made a mistake getting shut of Lang AND Wyke. Magennis is the staggering thing. Lumbered with a striker who hardly scores and yet is on a big wedge. I’ve heard Maloney labelled a ‘defensive manager’. I don’t quite get it, because he was an attacking player.

No idea how this season will play out, to be honest.

Yeah, as if. More like 2 mil at most. Paid in installments.
