Should have took the point and settled for that given the pace of their forwards.
Naivety really Caldwell hopefully will learn from that but deffo a point chucked away.
Still fleet wood at home ( the joysRemember seeing the fat bloke who played the jealous copper on the TV series ‘life on Mars ‘ .
He was in the east stand concourse and somebody pointed him out. He didnt seem too pleased to be spotted so we left him alone.
His name in the show was ‘ Ray ‘ I think and this is going back about 7 years at least and he may just have nabbed a freebie whilst he was filming but I reckon we can call him a celebrity fan.
Agree with maconie not being classed as a fan , saw him near worsley mesnes many years back and nodded at him to say hello and he just blanked me outright. With the new belief and our fantastic away support then I certainly agree with you.
Amazing what a few wins can do and I have been surprised at how entertaining this division is.
A far cry from last seasonSurprised Blunderland haven’t pulled the trigger yet as we have already had the first mass sulk this season from their ever so fickle fans.
Fantastic result that lifts us all To believe this may be our year.
Slowly but surely this bunch of players are gelling and who would bet against a win next week at vale park. The signings yesterday impressed me a great deal particularly Kellet who was on loan at Utd last year and the lads we have brought in look like bargains in the main, they have recruited really well- well done!
The start we have made at home is very encouraging but the way the young lads have applied themselves and their effort and honesty gives us all hope that the dreadful rot has been stopped.
would rather see hungry players with something to prove rather than has beens and overall the transfer business has been conducted in the correct fashion and they have obviously sent out scouts and recruited well.
I’m not saying we will batter this league or even make the play offs but to see these youngsters having a go and trying their best is far more satisfying than seeing mercanries clutter up our squad.
I was a gloomy as hell a few weeks back but the performances against Crewe and Scunthorpe have lifted my spirits and the team seems to be gelling very quickly.
I’m predicting a win on Saturday and a move towards the top – bloody hell what a feeling it is to be positive at last!shoud be called disloyalty day because it alwYs seem to consist of cry baby players camping outside grounds were they have been refused a move.
Can’t stand it although I know it is very useful for people who wait till the very last minute sell a prize asset and then not reinvest the money.Funny that Jrt good joke
sort of makes sense of how daft the whole transfer deadline day thing is.
Not that fussed about missing out on vaughan would rather stick with what we have and blood some more kids.
been surprised at how laid back league 1 is and the honesty of the players has been a joy. No rolling around and trying to cheat just lads getting on with it playing the game.It was 40 million certain of it!
Only 93 off the 100 little dave btw .The ” 100 points “line has become the new” war chest of 40
Million “As comfortable a 1-0 win as you will ever see and we looked a good side this afternoon .
Now for a back to back win at Chesterfield next week and if we get that we might be able to start thinking we can do something this season.Shows how far we have fallen when the big hero is david Perkins but after the awful year of home form a win against Scunthorpe feels like a win against Man Utd!
Again shows you how fr we have fallenPerkins is a fantastic lad with a heart as big as a lion however shaun has qualities that are premier league standard.
No disrespect but I’d have shaun back tomorrow just for that quality.Worked his heart out and put a great shift in .
As annoying as that wish git that used to since yams whilst walking slowly towards the North stand like a 1970s crooners like Vince hill or val doonican!
Dig out the springy classic ‘brown girl in the ring ‘ boney m stick that on -
