A point against Dulham and a home win against Blunderland and it will be all on again.
keep positive plenty of other clubs sweating and always a comfy one that drops in -my tip Norwich.Couldn’t you think of a daft rhyme for Norwich, then? ;)
SNOREWICH !
they are from a f¥¥¥in boring part of the world aren’t they?
3 football clubs in an area the size of the north west is hardly interesting is it?A point against Dulham and a home win against Blunderland and it will be all on again.

I will have to work on that one ;)

It’s not a wonder we lost. At one point they had 12 Cantonas, 12 George Bests, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ole Solskjaer, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and some bloke called Robin Van Persie. Didn’t see him on the pitch.
What were all the plane gestures about? Imagine the uproar if we had done that to them!!!! Reminded me of scousers today.
I saw those gestures and was surprised by them also. What surprised me more was seeing two bald old blokes aged about 65 gesticulating to ES2 aggressively -what a pair of clowns!
Utd played well today but then they always play well against us don’t they?
No shame getting outclassed by the top team in the league with a reserve team that would beat our first.Thats the Premier league isn’t it competitive to the last ……..notThe difference in rugby (and tennis, cricket, nfl etc) is that the game is stopped at the time of the incident and a video ref can be used.In football with goal line incidents and the Maloney one at Villa, the game carries on and could carry on for 4 minutes as it did against Arsenal with the Di Santo incident. All that time would have to be replayed if the official went back and awarded a penalty so we’d be there all night. It just wouldn’t work.
The only technology that football can use is for goal line incidents and it MUST be instant.
fair points goodpost
Good to see the club making ends meet and the investment in academy and facilities will stand the club in good stead for the future.
Can’t stand the bloke full stop especially after the situation with Palacious a few years back. The player had been languishing in the reserves at Birmingham and we took a chance only for him to be enticed away a year later in the january window.
KarmaSTUFFED TODAY, CHELSKI NEXT IS THE FAT LADY GETTING READYI’m waiting for the first rant from you know who along the lines of
” I can’t be blamed for this wabbish ain’t ad any munny and the mess was ere when I come ere”
a very poor side who have given up already from what I saw today.
In RL they have a video ref and when a dodgy decision happens the field ref makes the sign of a television and the incident is decided by him.
It doesn’t seem to ruin the flow of a game and if anything gives it a bit of drama and would be perfect for top flight football. If we had a video ref we would have had two penalties yesterday but we all know the powers that be wont sanction it.Not been funny, but you dont need video ref for the 2 pen decisions yesterday, the 2nd 1 where ireland takes maloney out the ref is looking streight at it
I think you DO if the Cnut doesn’t give it and the process works well in tennis and RL so why not have it?
the refs are scared to death of giving big decisions in a split second as all the pundits slaughter them if they get it wrong and they could potentially lose their job.
A video ref would take that pressure away and would work well with the all the technology available today. The game may be held up here and there but we are talking millions and millions of pounds at the end of the day being lost if a club gets relegated.
bring it in as soon as possible I say!In RL they have a video ref and when a dodgy decision happens the field ref makes the sign of a television and the incident is decided by him.

I am also looking forward to the day out and the result won’t spoil it whatsoever.
Need some new faces to freshen things up whatever Di santo is doing!
Get rid take the money and spend it on some hungry honest home grown players .
No disrespect to foreign players but the gap has narrowed massively in the last few years between the EPL and the football league and I think we need to be scouting a bit closer to home from now on.
just a thoughtThere is talk of Bechio from Leeds in the paper today so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go in January.
,Austin of Burnley would be a good shout as lads from the championship seem to be good punts these daysIt housed some of the biggest goons rather than cocks before any of the wits get at me for that rick!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL!A dirty scruffy 1960s style pub near Bolton ( small town and minds imo)station before Blackburn game a few years back.It housed some of the biggest cocks I have ever had the misfortune to meet who mouthed off to all and sundry how “Wigan was in the pub”.
Carried on this facade until some of our more lively characters turned up and we watched their faces turn white as they realised this gobby act was going to get thim in big trouble.
Fortunately for them the OB turned up but the pub is easily the scruffiest and most unfriendly pub I have ever been in. -
