They are playing it on Sunday, proving that two fixtures can take place in one ground over the same weekend.
Who knows what was involved in the negotiations between Landlord and tenant over Wigan Warriors being asked to switch to a Sunday. Usually when one two parties have a legally binding contract and one needs to break it, there is compensation due, so I wouldnt be surprised if Whelco (who I believe still own the DW) hasnt had to pay some penalty clause to Wigan Warriors as tickets will have already been sold (approx 11,000 so far, although this includes ST holders).
What it means for sure is that a precedent has been set and there is now no reason that Wigan Warriors home playoff game cannot be played on 12 September.[/quote]

My gripe with roberto’s 4-2-3-1system is the midfield are not up field fast enough to support the lone striker/targetman,and we are continually losing possession,thus making it easy’er for the opposition to control the game.

I have a season ticket now every season since I was 12. I went to renew it on last week and was mentioned about the cheaper season review DVD, to which the miserable old lady behind snarled “we arent doing that anymore”. I told her no matter, at least I can still get my discount at Rigolettos when I take the Mrs on the weekend….. later that evening I was told by the restaurant manager yet again,”we arent doing that any more”!Well what do you give us then!??? Anyone who gets a season ticket this year gets exactly the same deal as me! And this happens every season.
I was talking to my mate who is a City fan and he gets all sorts! And if he renews before a certain date he saves £50.
Now I know we’re one of the cheapest around but surely we should get deals? Or at least give us the offers that they already promote and actually follow through with it!

We think that the referee got it absolutely right in his decision to dismiss you and dealt with the situation very well. We accept this was not a deliberate action but very reckless. We give you credit for pleading guilty however this was direct, high contact with the head of your opponent. The credit for pleading guilty is balanced out by your previous record which includes a recent suspension and warnings.

As all junior season ticket holders can get a free ticket, they have to make up the shortfall somewhere else, hence slightly higher prices.
