man utd playing in the northern prem thats all it was like with the w.nk staines in the 80’s! big fish flapping around in a puddle!!
change the record kidda, we only went fully pro in the 90s. no different to whelan buying his way out of division 3 and further up the ladder, or newcastle buying their way back to the prem. all fair and good
McCarthy – Not bad but painfully slow.Diame – One of only two flair players we have.
Caldwell – Good signing. Prone to odd rash challenge and howler but steady and has a canny knack of nicking a goal when he goes forward.
Moses – Agree, not seen enough.
Moreno – Not Premiership standard. Always looks busy but with very little effect. Big lad like him should really be throwing his weight around but wins very little in the air and easily pushed over.
Gohouri – Not seen
Scotland – Could have been a cult hero but ultimately not good enough. 10/10 for endeavour though.Gomez – Not Premiership standard.
Thomas – Started really well but gone downhill since.
Stoikovic – If he’s third choice keeper for Serbia, I want to see the ones below him.
Sinclair – Not good enough. If he was, he wouldn’t be on loan at Wigan.
Got to agree with your opinion on Moreno.Looks the part big time South American Striker!if Bob shows the same faith in him as Scottie then God help us whichever league were in next season
Mutty quite clearly is not a Sunderland fan and more than likely not even a rugby fan, he is just a wind up merchant sat in his bedroom on his own occasionally shouting down to his Mum to brew up !!Deffo an Wurriors fan 560 + posts ont cherryandshite !
Sunderland fan no chance, wind up ;)the thing that annoys me about away travel is the fact you have to be a member of the supporters club to gain acces to the coaches. iv been a tics fan for a long time now and i follow the team as much as i can to away matches. however i am sick of forking out a fortune for travel. i am not a member of the supporters club and the fact you have to PAY a fiver plus your coach seat to support your own team to an away match is ridiculous in my eyes. why are there no coaches going to away matches that are for the reguler, average wigan athletic supporter? id accept paying the same amount as members of the supporters club do for it cos lets face its still the cheapest way of getting there but why should we be have to be members of the supporters club to do so? all the away coaches that bring the away fans to our ground are not members of their supporters group (maybe some are but definately not all of them) so why can’t we just have a simple coach service to away matches without having to be members of the supporters club? its ridiculous of you ask me.
The £5 per SEASON is what makes the coaches so cheap, it is what allows a Supporters Club Bar to be available in close proximity to the ground.
When it boils down to it, it works out at around 25p per away trip, without taking into account the cost of the room for the Bar.
You winge because you don’t use the coaches throughout the season and when something free comes up you fire off like the victim Liverpool fan.
Dead Right! another Bandwagon :o
On the 6th April 1957, Sunderland were fined £5,000 by the Football Association for alleged payment irregularities to players. Club directors, the manager and several players were either fined or suspended although the suspensions on the players were lifted after a few months.Salary Cap dust See :o

   :lol:face it, if this new rule about ground sharing is brought in (and it’s a elephant big if, this is a daily mail article we’re talkin about here) then it won’t be the rugby leavin the DW. the FA only have power over latics. rugby have a 50 year lease, remember?
It helps if your upto speed on the facts before you jump head first into a thread.Neither do I know why the rugby contingent seem to be taking this out on Latics, it’s the so called Premiership big hitters who are trying to push this through, you know, the clubs most of you guys support?
It’s time to chill out, as a collective you seem to be squaring up to anyone who doesn’t pronounce you the greatest thing since sliced bread, I would have thought you had bigger things on your plate dealing with the unruly section of your own fans who seem to be tarnishing the name of Wigan on an almost weekly basis.[/quote
Hear Hear Knuckle dragging Cherry +White MUTANTS!.The Family Game,my arse
I’m going to support Barcelona and Brazil after today. Latics and England is too depressing. There must be something in being a JCL or bandwagon jumper?Shove 4 pillows up thi jersey!get down tut DW tomorrow

Fingers crossed our stewards and Health an Safety Officer will ban that Fire Hazard suspended high up in the South Stand on RL Matchdays :mrgreen:Absolutely F**K all wrong with that tackle that Caldwell got sent off for and, surprise surprise, straight red! Soon as the crowd shout… He sends him.Atwell is a joke! Gives a stupid goal in the reading game, A red ard that never was today. Joke
On the upside… Moreno is looking good, quality turn and shot minute ago… Downside… Rodallega looks like he doesn’t want it in the net.
Sorry James C beg to differ Moreno was put through twice by Rodders in the first half in open space and choose to shoot
when he had the oppertunity to control the ball and advance into the
penalty box.
