Ditto for me, I would love a 3-0 home win against the cheats that would send them down to where they should have gone three years ago.

It won’t be much consolation to Sheffield United, who look like they won’t even to be able to take the mick out of them next season.

Win at Sunderland, draws with Everton and Villa (or better), send the FA Darlings down with a big spanking.

Unfortunately, there will be a few more twists and turns in the last 5 games. Blackburn have to play WHU and Wolves away (I don’t think they’ll get much out of Bolton, Man City and Man Utd at home – maybe a point.)

Wolves have to play a couple of those teams that just need that last couple of points and so will have say on who goes down whether they go down or not (Fulham, Stoke, Brum, Brom and Blackburn).

Blackpool have Toon, Stoke, Spurs, Bolton and Man Utd.

Cheats have Chelsea, Man City, Us, Blackburn and Sunderland.

We just have to concentrate on getting at least 5 more points, as I can’t see three of those getting more than 38 points.

I think (and hope) it will be three of Blackburn, WHU, Wolves and Blackpool.

Draw at sunderland will do for me as long as they don’t lose. Well capable of winning that game although the demon in me is still more sceptical rather than confident, Same applies to Everton and WHU at home. Play like we did yesterday and there will be no probs.

Gonna leave myself open to attack here but watching the latics fans yesterday made me proud and i wish i was there. Was a good day all around being a Wigan fan yesterday.

Rio with his usual loser temperment

i think there is more to it than that, the man who caused it was Balotelli, he would have said something to him or not shook his hand at the end or something. Serious problems that fella.

I was miffed that City won, maybe a different team yes, But they are a manufactured team and i don’t like that, I would rather United win things than the Man Cities and Chelsea’s any day of the week.

Undoubtedly the best performance of the season, just when they needed to be stood up and be counted. Superb display.

    Falls of chair :auto-ambulance: [/quote]

what else could i say, it was, not one fault yesterday. I call a spade a spade. If something is crap i will say its crap. If something is good i will say its good.

your the most sorry excuse for a fan ive ever seen :hand:

Difference between me and you is that i work most weekends, you are probably on the dole living with your parents. I spend my money how i wish and don’t waste it on latics. Next season when we go down you will disappear, Next season when we go down i will be going back.

It isn’t just Wigan Athletic im miffed off with, it is the league in general.

Don’t spout to me what i should and shouldn’t be doing pipsqueak, You go that is your choice, When i go i don’t just turn up for the north-west derbies i will be at reading etc as i always used to before this woeful excuse for a league.

When i think im getting my money’s worth yes, Not for a bunch of over paid players who don’t try and a manager who has not got a clue.

I have stuck with the bad managers in the past and kept going but Martinez is the worst i have seen, and by a long way.

    Im working saturday anyroad

No it isn’t, it isn’t even wit. The real wit was me knowing he isn’t at school because i know who he is, i have played football against him on many occasions. I am in my late twenties, how am i a biddy. Thty, you are good at avoiding questions, quick to remark but last to back it up, You used to do the same with dave.

Last post on this lick my arse thread, I don’t think i have said anything ridiculous but the propaganda men on here like turning things into other things and thty tries to tag along because he isn’t clever enough to come up with anything of his own.

griff to standish “your the bestist you standish”
“no you are griff, I want to bum you and rub your nugget” But thty wants a piece of the action too, don’t leave him out.

in reply to: Plan for Saturday #63431

thty, i didnt say he was prolific did i, i think he is out on loan at sheff utd these days but he is in his thirties now anyway. I was making comparisons not saying i wanted him back. Did you actually read it.

in reply to: Plan for Saturday #63425

Haha no i won’t griff, not this week.

Im all for supporting the team, When it’s due. I wont applaud lack of effort is what i said. Just because they have played well for about a month and still got nothing does that mean the rest of the season is excused. Short memories you lot, Roll over and get bummed off anything said to make things look positive although in reality you know it is bullshit.

thrty, give me 5 reasons why you think the Marcus Bent thing is so laughable. In fact i will settle for 2, Go on, think about your comparisons really hard.

Standish i dont care what mcgoose is or says. I support rugby too but how he can take the piss if he is about a team on the down such as latics is also laughable, Rugby is imploding, Dressing room has been lost and control has gone. Rugby and football fans alike know what that is like, Only go in one direction after that.

in reply to: Plan for Saturday #63418

For the sake of explaining myself about the Marcus Bent thing. What im talking about is determination and effort. Okay he was not as skilful as Rodallega or his name was not as exotic as Di Santo but he put the ball in the back of the net when needed, he ran for 90 mins going for every ball, He did not cost millions and come with an expectation, He was on loan from a side in the championship who ended up going down, He put the effort in because he did not want to go back there and he wanted to make an impression. I don’t think there is anyone who could disagree with his effort, We could do with a team of Bent’s, Bullard’s and Eaden’s etc. Not world beaters but show enough passion to get jobs done tidily. The leagues are scattered with consistent performers but because the media does not rave about them they aren’t hyped up.

in reply to: Plan for Saturday #63415

Commendable but would like to re-iterate point number 6.

If they lose why give them a massive reception. If they lose they are down which means they have not been good enough all season so why this game show appreciation for lack of effort. I bet you didn’t give them a massive reception the last time they played Blackpool, or the time before that.

Our team has the ability to go there and tonk them and im sorry but if they can’t get up for a game of that magnitude and get a win then they deserve to go down. Im sick of hearing about near chances and unlucky in front of goal. Truth is they haven’t been good enough and it is time they earned their wages. Too many imposters in our squad. Martinez has had 2 years to get rid of the so called lesser players but for me has brought in worse than we had. Even Marcus Bent was better than what we have now.

in reply to: what odds on Torres scoring agaisnt us? #63347

I would imagine that half of City fans are dark siders. The money they have spent in the last couple of years and nothing to show for it. Too many stars signed, Too many individual players that stuck out in their respective teams. The Barry’s and Milner’s and Lescott’s of this world now just look very average. Although personally i would never put them in a bracket near Tevez, Silva e.t.c. Players with natural ability, Balotelli is the same but at the same time i have never seen a player more lazy or disinterested than him. He should not be on a field. With the money City have i would let him go for the first offer they got. If Mourinho goes there he will be first out anyroad.

in reply to: valiant effort? #63244

    I would continue 4-5-1

Andy you do realise what you have just said don’t you

in reply to: Bale and Nasri #63190

The usual suspects have been quiet this season with the exception of Rooney’s post christmas form.

Yep cannot see past Bale, Although he has played well the media interest has won it for him.

Personally though i agree with keepthefaith, Adam has been outstanding all season and is about 50% of the reason Blackpool are where they are. But he plays for Blackpool so there is no chance. Nani has been on top form all season and Carroll was on a roll before his injury and move, Similarly Tevez has been outstanding all year. If Bale get’s player of the year i would give the young player of the year to Javier Hernandez
