Joe Hart (recent mistakes accepted) & Manuel Neuer spring to mind for arguments sake
Van Persie and Messi up front (or Di Santo and Maloney) ? etc. etc.
Reality check for some … (Wigan, we are)
No need to start getting snippy with me just because you agreed with a silly comment.
Just stating the obvious.
Stating the obvious you were, but you were taking what I said completely out of context so keep the reality check for yourself pal.
out of context ? not at all
viewed in the context of the bigger picture (wigan, we are)
who’s the snippy one (pal) ?!
The original statement was that “whoever” wouldnt swap Al Habsi for any keeper in the world.
That clearly implies a choice of any keeper regardless of the stature of our beloved club.
Does it not?
Aye, you are right, I’d go for superman.
Superman is not and has never been a Goalkeeper.
Are you struggling with the concept of context as well?
26 November 2012 at 2:59 pm #97173He is a very good keeper.
26 November 2012 at 3:01 pm #97174I’ll take your word for it, but 6360 posts says a lot to me. What about going for Quality instead of quantity? Some of us can achieve both. Some neither.

Are there still any chub in the annan ?
my PB is off there 5lb 6oz, not big by todays standards but massive 20 years ago.
ps
Just in case the rain keeps falling take some of your “brandlings” and drop in on castle loch if you are washed off the annan.
26 November 2012 at 10:49 pm #97230Wouldn’t go near the place mate, ruined by the Eatern Europeans, leaving litter all over and taking bream, most of the Lochs up there are being predated on by these morons.
Yes, still big chub in the Annan, but hard to find, my mate hada couple of 5′ in February. :)26 November 2012 at 11:08 pm #97234my mate hada couple of 5′ in February. :)Don’t think I want to know what you and your mates get up to when your not fishing…

I wouldnt swap him for any other keeper in the world, keeping us in the game with a cracking save at 2-2…again. Loves to play for the club, we are very lucky to have him, thanks Bowton.
Agreed
Two buffoons, then? You wouldn’t swap him for any keeper in the world? Give yourselves a shake, lads. Who would you swap him for then Griff?
That is such a silly question to ask on every level ishmael.
I thought everyone who reads this board knows that griff would pick himself to do the job, in his mind he is superior to every other person on the planet at what ever he does.
Another fan of griffs !!
