Listen,Swansea were 4th from bottom going into that game and hadn’t won away for about 7 or 8 games if I recall. They had their main talisman ( Michu ) out injured and we led twice only to go and bollocks it up! Fingers can be pointed in all directions, excuses made but at the end of the day the buck stops with the manager! Did he have an eye on the FA Cup? Of course he did, the whole team did and I am glad they did but at the end of the day we fucked it up and it wasn’t down to bad luck or injuries because as I recall Swansea were piss poor that night and despite us leading twice they beat us and so to me that was not Martinez’s ( The buck stops here ! ) finest hour!
As for Caldwell he didn’t get the nickname ‘Calamity’ for nothing! He might have been player of the year, he might have beat his chest and shouted a lot but when he invariably fucked up he fucked up good! Your proverbial ‘Marmite Player’ !
Now all that aside let’s discuss the opposite of the thread, the chance of Bob being top 4 Bob! With the way things have started off for some of the top 4 usual suspects surely Bob has his best chance yet to deliver his promise to Kenwright and the Everton fans. It depends upon which part of your 80-20 rule this statement falls under. By admitting that 20% of the time you are not taking the piss it sort of makes all your posts irrelevant really, but if that’s what gets you through the day…..

I love Wigan. They’ve made me very wealthy. I’m not up for the fight. Everton will make me even richer.I won’t come back for any players. Fuck off Wigan.I think he is a lovely bloke and I respect him for having the guts to stick to his football principals. Loved him as a player. Will be forever grateful for him taking us on to win the cup. However I found his football boreing apart from when we had our backs to the wall. 2 nil down then start!
