I’m surprised at Jackson getting Stick, he seems completely committed. His role is to lead and manage the business, the administrator has the job of selling it

No Admin Nov 19, infact “Way” was was far far AWayHe signed an extension 16/11/2019 to surpass the 2021 deal this was fcuked up and only found out when admin stepped in 6-7 months later so the original contract remained in place till 2021.
His original deal signed in 2018 was till Aug 2021 that remained in place so…..
So what did he sign 16th Nov 2019 with Abbott & Costello ? the Magna Carta, 12 months Sky Package ? or was he just there coloring in ?

I thought the admin said it’s the wage bill that needs driving down, these young lads are on peanuts in comparison to the 1st team players who are still here. Those who we should be getting shut of are the big ticket big earners and quite a few are still here.

Really not sure why he is getting any stick in this, although it doesn’t surprise me.
I’m surprised we haven’t lost more high profile names but I wouldn’t be surprised if clubs are hanging on in the hope that we don’t pay them and they can then walk away for free.

Who has bid for Marshall, Lowe or Kipre thatbwe have turned down?He signed an extension that would have “BEEN” activated come into place when he turned 18 (2nd May 2019), he signed this “LONG TERM” deal on the 16th Nov 2019. He already had a deal in place signed Aug 2018 till 2021 this was an extension to that deal once he came of age.
Gelhardt turned 18 2nd May, we went into admin 4 weeks after. When it was checked while in Adimn it came to light that the extension to his Aug 2019 contract could not or hadn’t been activated because of some fcuk up when signing incomplete or something.
So if he signed in Aug 2018 till 2021 and he signed again in Nov 2019 what was the point of signing an extension to the same end date.

It was “incomplete” because he never signed the extension when he turned 18. No cock-ups, no amateur mistakes and no knock on effects on the fee we would have gotten for him. Had he gone for free then fair enough, but he went for the same fee that he would have gone for whether he had 1 year or 10 years left.
Oh right egg says no cock up it just wasn’t signed completed because it wasn’t so there, both forget I suppose.

Not nearly signed or possibly “Signs” it’s called a contract. Or did someone take ink out the pen ?.It was signed to be activated once he turned 18 so on his 18th birthday if becomes in law binding.
Now correct me if I’m wrong I never heard a club statement saying mutually agree to terminate the contract.
Then when admin stepped in they found something was amiss / not completed from Nov 19.
Someone fucked up majorly whether he would have gone for more we’ll never know.
