Unsworth is what I heard 6-7 weeks ago and a certain Everton young triple barrel player on loan in Jan once we sign Evans permantly to make room.
No Bruce for me, wherever he goes he’s always likes plenty of coin. The last time he were here he nearly sank us with an unsustainable wage bill that was spirerling out of control.24 December 2018 at 3:58 am #174302Unsworth is what I heard 6-7 weeks ago and a certain Everton young triple barrel player on loan in Jan once we sign Evans permantly to make room.

The last time he were here he nearly sank us with an unsustainable wage bill that was spirerling out of control. The last time he was with us we were in our strongest position ever in league football then we sold Palacios, Taylor and Heskey which derailed our chances of finishing in the high top half of the Premier League.
24 December 2018 at 4:35 am #174303Bruce was our most successful manager in the prem, league wise! The fire sale saw him ditch us for another club and you couldn’t blame him really !
24 December 2018 at 12:37 pm #174308And they were sold for the reasons mentioned by cupwinners.
We would be the new Bolton otherwise
24 December 2018 at 1:47 pm #174310Exactly Stu and then of course rather than moan that we sold all our players, everyone would moan that we didn’t.

1 January 2019 at 9:07 pm #174595So is that no points gained or 3 points dropped ?, I think that’s the cherry on the cake. Losing fine, I can live with that but the way were losing beggars belief, toothless ain’t the word.
So Blackett ? Wigan or Sheffield Utd ? I hope he doesn’t see the highlights1 January 2019 at 9:29 pm #174598Well that was bloody awful. Dull slow play, negative tactics, inept and non committed defending, you can go on and on. Not a team I would have selected and not the changes I would have made either.
What a miserable start to the new year
All the best!!!!1 January 2019 at 9:39 pm #174600Time to stop the rot now before we end up in the bottom three.its gona happen so the time is now.

All the best!!!!Substituting Gibson for the useless Windass????
Gibson wasn’t playing badly either.
Roberts was totally goosed again so should have been a straight swap for McMannaman but oh no let’s just make him labour on for 45 mins FFS!! Felt sorry for him. Evans stunk and is so negative. Grigg would have had to come on for Massey. Totally toothless and outclassed by a side playing with two strikers. How they do that I just don’t know.2 January 2019 at 12:08 am #174625I read the game the same as you Donny

How they do that I just don’t know.[/quote]Windass has shown he can be a very useful player. But he needs to be playing in the No.10 position feeding Grigg, and with support from a pacey pair of wingers. Basically set-up how we started the season. Injuries have hurt but the killer has been the defensive play and selections. We showed against West Brom and Derby what we can do when we go all out.I don’t understand why Cook has done a complete 180 on how we played at the start of the season. It’s like he was spooked by those 3-2 games (for and against) and has killed our attacking game to shore up the defence. The lack of goals is the real killer. When playing better quality opposition they’re always likely to get one, if not two.
