At the end of the day it will go like this. The owners show their determination and hopes for Wigan Athletic and back Cookie in January substantially. This enables PC to field a better stronger side and we climb the table. OR, they keep the war chest locked and we face a relegation dog fight. Lets see how serious they are come Jan.
18 December 2018 at 11:38 am #174139I agree cup winners. Changing manager mid season worked out well for is in our last 2 campaigns in this league.
18 December 2018 at 3:25 pm #174143A certain miserable horrid Portuguese flop has become available.

Hahaha true gl, wouldn’t want that whingeing buck passing has been anywhere near our club. Said it to Utd fans when he got the job it would be a disaster. He is washed up.

I love the guy personally.
18 December 2018 at 11:08 pm #174150I thought his flippant, arrogant but often funny persona at the outset (early Chelsea) was great …..and to have someone around who said what he thought rather than trot out the old platitudes was a welcome change…..but ……he has morphed into a sulking self indulgent Jessie and I’m not remotely surprised that he failed at OT.
All that said those players are a fkn disgrace, they clearly thought blowing the season and any remote chance of challenging City was well worth paying in order to get rid of him….stuff the hopes of the supporters shelling out what they often can’t afford to watch some gobshite “earning” hundreds of thousands of pounds a week go through the motions because they don’t like the manager.
Half the working world don’t get on with their boss, but that doesn’t entitle them to do ball all ….and if they did they’d soon be unable to pay their mortgages !
19 December 2018 at 2:11 pm #174153Sorry guys but don’t believe it is the players that has cost him his job. It is his massive ego and unwillingness to move with the times. Last week he blamed Moyes and Van Gaal for the problems when in his 2 and half years he brought in 13 players at a cost of around 400 million. He signed Baiily and Lindelhoff then skriked like a baby when they turned out to be shite and he couldn’t have any more centre backs. 2 dressing rooms at different clubs cannot be just a coincidence. He did it at Chelsea and he has done it at Utd. Never his fault always the players or the board. He had some of the most talented guys in the Premier league but he couldn’t coach them. Pogba plays great for France and Lukaku does the same for Bobby but Moanrinho tries to play them differently and it doesn’t work. The not very special one has gone from being Del Trotter to Victor Meldrew and I hope for one he never darkens the English game again.
22 December 2018 at 9:31 pm #174229Ummmmmmm let’s see, were shall I start……
22 December 2018 at 10:00 pm #174231Well that was abysmal today. Terrible performance by Cook. Team selection, tactics, substitutions. Is that a reason to get shut?

23 December 2018 at 2:38 pm #174264Heard a rumour yesterday that royal is lining up his mate David unsworth, also Bruce was at the game yesterday
23 December 2018 at 2:43 pm #174265Said it months ago that Unsworth would be our next manager. Every new regime puts there own man in
23 December 2018 at 3:52 pm #174267I’d favour Bruce than unsworth.
23 December 2018 at 3:58 pm #174268Without a doubt but he’s got the Wednesday gig
