Oooh….truth pricks a nerve !!…. If you enjoyed Rotherham/Stoke games then you really must have an entertainment vacuum in your life. Lose /Draw/Win….I really couldn’t give a w@@@….that’s sport but this last 4 months has seen us not only struggle to compete but be drawn into a footballing void. A couple of games aside its been shocking ,but I still cheer them on and get behind them when I go unlike a lot who sit around me.
14 February 2019 at 10:36 pm #176306Totally irrelevant what Stoke players cost….can only base opinion on what I saw last night, and they were poor. Still as poor as they were we were shit and Stoke should have won it..As for Clarke……he created nothing and centre halfs had him in their pockets all night.Irrelevant what players cost but a pound to a pinch of shit you’re one of those people that said we only won the league last year because we had the biggest budget.

Not sure if you went the game but Olson, Roberts, Fox and Gibson didn’t play.
Clarke, Pilkington and Garner were the only 3 over 30 and 2 of them are actually 30.
Nobody is saying he hasn’t signed over 30s but he has signed more players UNDER 30 and the average age of our squad is UNDER 30.
Even stevie wonder can see yiur trolling bullshit

We draw and they were dull affairs in which we were shit.
We lose and Cook is out his depth and we’re shit. You’re not the tit who I used to sit near at the rugby who booed when we were 20 0 up are you?
15 February 2019 at 12:39 am #176311At first last night, I really enjoyed the game. It was fast paced, and end to end. Both teama looked like having a good go.
But there was little goalmouth action. Both teams lacked that ability to create the final play in the penalty area. You could say though that both teams defended well.
Paul Cook made the changes, Massey, Powell and Garner came on. Have to agree with him that a draw was probably the fair result.
Regarding Stoke, theyve still got a lot of their big names on big wages. Butland, Allen, etc. Surely a lot will move on in the summer, for financial reasons.

15 February 2019 at 5:54 am #176316Its a bit frustrating how we have no game this weekend, due to Derby being in the cup. On the back of a 3 game unbeaten run, it would have been nice going into that game at Derby, a hard one, granted.
Ipswich won’t be mugs next Saturday, either. They didnt play bad last week at Norwich, the lad Judge, in midfield, will have a tussle with Morsy, I have no doubt. Their performance, despite the 3 nil loss to Norwich that flattered the hosts, was not befitting of their position. Until late on, they looked worthy of getting a draw.
15 February 2019 at 11:30 am #176317At one time we used to bring games forward against other teams not in the cup.
Nowadays we jet the whole caboodle off to Dubai.

A good analysis of Ipswich, but if we lose I bet rather than them being no mugs you will be on here throwing your toys out the pram and telling us all how shit we are, cooks out his depth and you aren’t going again.

Skint my arse.Aye. I reckon we lied about the books just to get more money for Grigg.

Your response to Vat’s pretty reasonable post has me wondering who is the negative one here? As for you calling other posters trolls when you antagonise posters on a regular basis, it really does have me thinking!
15 February 2019 at 1:15 pm #176325Back to the game. I appreciate our predicament but these negative tactics that Cook has adopted of late in order to grind out the odd point here and there are soul destroying to the paying punter. Now those dull tactics may very well keep us up ( Just ) but what of next season? Because Cook will have done what was asked of him and kept us up this season, who’s to say that those mind numbing tactics won’t be applied again!
Comparing our squad to some of the teams above us I see us as having a better overall squad than quite a few of them. Take Preston for instance. More or less safe now with a squad that is nowhere near as good as ours but they seem to have a go at teams ( Remember our little trip to Deepdale! ) and have some great results under their belt this season. Yes they have had some bad results and their league position reflects that but they are pretty much safe and some might say have a long shot at a play off place! What are they doing with an inferior squad to us that we aren’t? Can you see us battering the top of the league like they did the other night!15 February 2019 at 1:16 pm #176326It was a reasonable post yes, but its the usual story from Vat. One minute we are up against it and the next when we have lost its because were shit.
Ipswich are a good side according to that post, but lets see in 2 weeks shall we.
15 February 2019 at 1:21 pm #176327I dont see where the “negative tactics” stuff comes from. He was urging the players forward constantly and we tried to attack whenever we could. 1st half we had 2 really good chances and got into some good positions. 2nd half they were probably the better side and that helped to push us back slightly but we still managed to get into a couple of good positions but couldnt create the opportunity. I wouldnt say we parked the bus or looked for the point. Last 5 perhaps, but as he has said before at that stage you protect what you have rather than lose everything.
