He needs tell Sunderland its 5 million or stop wasting our time that’s the price.
23 January 2019 at 10:30 pm #175424Maybe he has told them that. Not everything is reported in the media and quite a lot of what is is tripe.
23 January 2019 at 11:03 pm #175426If people aren’t happy after the transfer window has closed then you’ll all have chance to question our invisible chairman in a couple of weeks. I assume all the naysayers on here will be taking him up on the chance to put your typed messages into real words.
23 January 2019 at 11:13 pm #175428I don’t blame Will Grigg if he wants to go because the lad wants to play football. If we get £1m the club will sell him.
24 January 2019 at 4:16 am #175432Maybe he has told them that. Not everything is reported in the media and quite a lot of what is is tripe.Hardly anything concerning us is reported these days. We must have the most secretive board and owners in the world, and/or a none existent media department and local journalists that are not arsed.
It was pretty bad under DW at times, but the present lot are bordering on ridiculous with their silence.
24 January 2019 at 9:52 am #175434They don’t have to tell us anything. They will tell us what we need to know and when we need to know it.
25 January 2019 at 4:08 am #175456They don’t have to tell us anything. They will tell us what we need to know and when we need to know it.We know they don’t have to tell us anything, but occasionally it would be nice to read something about us.
It would also better for the overall wellbeing of the club if they were more interactive with their fans.Apparently there are some rumours on twitter on occasions from Paul Kendrick and a journalist called Nixon, but I don’t do twitter.
I wonder if Shoot or Match magasine are still going, we used to get a couple lines in those publications from time to time.

I remember getting free gifts in those magazines when I was younger but nothing on that scale.
25 January 2019 at 1:47 pm #175467They don’t have to tell us anything. They will tell us what we need to know and when we need to know it.Actually marrer they do, they expect us to buy match day tickets and soon season tickets as well. It is their duty to provide us with an optimistic reason to buy and give us a willingness to keep turning up in numbers.

But if you have ‘Blind Faith’ you buy into the club regardless! ;)

And what they need to tell us is done on social media and press conferences.
Football is a business and as such they are not going to discuss player contracts (until they sign one) and how much players are available for in the transfer market. That will be dealt with on a need to know basis and fans do not need to know.
25 January 2019 at 11:16 pm #175501If only the manager gave us details say once a week on injuries and transfers. What an idea that is.
26 January 2019 at 2:57 pm #175517Apologies if this has already been posted. But we have turned down 4 sunderland bids for grigg. Perhaps cook really does want him to stay.

28 January 2019 at 12:34 pm #175611But it’s a 100% Cook decision to leave him on the bench when fit, IEC don’t pick the match day starting 11.
I’m pretty sure Cook will have some say in who he wants come Feb. He’s made it quite Grigg ain’t one of them based on his recent team selections.
