According to cook pilkington will help to keep us in this division.
10 January 2019 at 9:08 pm #175042Unlike most of his signings who have been helping us leave this division.
10 January 2019 at 9:14 pm #175043Unlike most of his signings who have been helping us leave this division.Well, if you forget the fact his signings have kept us out the bottom 3 all season and are still 4 points clear of said drop zone despite being the worst team in the world.
10 January 2019 at 9:41 pm #175044But we know it wasn’t really Cooks signings that put those points on the board was it. Since Cooks super signings took their places because of the injuries we have plummeted down the table.
James is probably his best signing to date.
Let’s hope Pilkington cuts it here at Latics and hits the ground running. I’ve heard Pilkington has a touch of glass!
He’ll be smashing if he does.10 January 2019 at 10:09 pm #175045Sunderland WANTING Will Grigg and Sunderland GETTING Will Grigg are two totally different things. We are all aware of that aren’t we?Yes we are Egg, but if the club have no intention of selling Will Grigg, FFS just issue a statement on he website and say so, its not difficult to communicate with fans these days.
It would calm people down and give a bit of reassurance that it is not our intention to sell our better players and puposely try to get the club relegated.
10 January 2019 at 10:16 pm #175046Loads of news of Grigg on News Now.
All Sunderland news.
No Latics news.
P.R. Proper Rubbish that Jim and Anthony.10 January 2019 at 11:23 pm #175047I’ve heard it all now…..someone really is wearing a humungous pair of Dame Ednas Rosies….”.Well, if you forget the fact his signings have kept us out the bottom 3 all season “………Christ !!..There really is a Manson-esque Cult thriving under Cooks leadership….Different slant…….”his signings have helped coat the all aboard to league 1 playground slide with ky “…
10 January 2019 at 11:35 pm #175048So how much have Sunderland supposedly offered, does anyone know? This is not going to end well at all!
11 January 2019 at 12:15 am #175049Fatfan ,youve finally convinced me of what a total gobshite you are….”The best player in the championship “…really Based on what?…Goals,assists..minutes on pitch ?..forgot that magic word again…”potentially “…….I rate him,but based on what he’s achieved..nah.I’ll tell you what he’s achieved, a fuckin big money transfer to one of the top 5 clubs in the world. Only for his attitude and injuries he’d still be there.
I’m not responding to you anymore I cannot take you serious I honestly can’t.From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!11 January 2019 at 12:59 am #175050Powell would frustrate me, if I were his manager. Undoubted talent and ability, but a seemingly poor attitude, and maybe a lack of self belief. There are millions who would love the opportunity at the career he has, and yet hes going to get to 32, or 33 years of age and look back and think “shit, I blew it.” He will be at about his seventh club by then, with probably nothing more than a few MOTM awards, match highlights and paper cuttings as keepsakes.
And yet, had he pushed himself that little bit more and been more focused on achieving he could have achieved so much more.11 January 2019 at 1:32 am #175051So how much have Sunderland supposedly offered, does anyone know? This is not going to end well at all!“Up to 200k” …
11 January 2019 at 1:44 am #175053I’ve heard it all now…..someone really is wearing a humungous pair of Dame Ednas Rosies….”.Well, if you forget the fact his signings have kept us out the bottom 3 all season “………Christ !!..There really is a Manson-esque Cult thriving under Cooks leadership….Different slant…….”his signings have helped coat the all aboard to league 1 playground slide with ky “…Well despite your delusions of grandeur, staying out the bottom 3 is our aim this season. Nothing more, nothing less. STAY IN THIS LEAGUE!!!

11 January 2019 at 2:01 am #175054Only we could have our main goalscorer linked with a move away for a similar fee for what we paid for Andy Saville in 1996!
11 January 2019 at 2:05 am #175055Come on Sunderland you’ve got to be having some kind of a News Years hangover, 200k ?. You wouldn’t get an Academy player from Peterborough for that
